Mitch laughed now and smirked, knowing he couldn’t stop the words from coming out of this mouth that instant. “Well Remmington, I am here, free and willing, if by the end of the night your considerations lead you to, shall we say, a yes?” He shrugged a little and grabbed his shot before quickly adding, “I mean, considering I only know you by name and not by reputation…though if I’m honest, I could easily find out by simply Googling your name but I’ve found no need to really do that.” Mitch looked at her with his smirk still in place and swallowed another shot.

“Appreciate the offer, but I’m afraid the answer would always be a no,” she replied, stifling a bit of a laugh as she shook her head. He certainly wasn’t afraid of being forward, which she could respect, even if he wasn’t at all her type. “But, yes you could easily find me on there if you felt so inclined. It at least would have saved you the trouble on trying to pick me up.” While her acting career was widely diverse from all the work she’d done over the years, she was primarily known for taking on many roles that promoted her role in the LGBT community and that reputation was the one she was most proud of.

With the weather starting to slowly shift and get cooler, Noah was finding all different types of new things to do outdoors with her time. That afternoon it was a trip out to one of the water parks in town to catch some sun before the cooler weather truly started to settle in. She was propped up in a chair, nestled in a pit of sand, people watching more than anything else. It was peaceful, but still an exciting atmosphere. Her attention was drawn when she saw something drop out of the person passing by’s bag and she settled up just a bit to call out to them. “Hey, you dropped your wallet back here.” 

As the end of the warm weather swiftly approached, Remy was spending much more time around the Disney parks. Some of it was work related, some of it was just for pleasure. Her trip to the water parks was entirely for fun that afternoon, a chance to catch up on reading some of the scripts she was looking through while also getting the last bit of sun she could. She had her sunglasses on, hat pulled down tightly over her face as she walked through the park to a more private spot, only turning to pay attention to something when someone called out. A glance back showed her dropped wallet, a frown settling in her eyes before she reached to grab it. “Oh, well, thank you. That would have been...a disaster.”

Mitch thought about it for a second and then responded, “I don’t mind being alone either love. But say for example if someone comes along and is willing to just have fun for one night with and without clothes on, I’d have no problem following through. However, can you say the same? Or does your line of work prevent you from having one night stands also?” He paused and shrugged a little, “Honestly, by the sound of it, one night stands are probably the best since you are so busy with work.”

“I...well, I don’t know. I suppose my job doesn’t prevent them, necessarily, but I do have to be a bit more...discreet,” she shrugged. It was a fine line to try and balance at times, trying to keep her name out of any negative press. And people talked, whether you asked them to or not. When you were as famous as Remy was, it was hard to really do much without it getting out to someone. “Perhaps I’ll have to consider it.”

“I don’t think being carried up to my apartment would be very… enjoyable even if I pay someone to do it, it’d just feel weird… wouldn’t it?”

“I...don’t know, honestly. Never been to the point where I have to be carried back to my house,” Remy shrugged. Though, the woman had a point. She probably would feel weird about it. “Maybe less weird if it’s someone you know?”

Keely: Okay so I need to know who this is. I just got a new phone and have no clue who this number belongs too. I found it in my pocket.

Remy: Um. I could ask the same of you, who is this? And where the hell did you get my number?

Dylan winced at the question, her downfall would always be her pride, she shook her head. “I’d rather sleep on this bench right here.”

“...and why is that?” she asked, a clear look of confusion in her eyes. There was absolutely nothing that could get Remy to opt to sleep somewhere as uncomfortable as a park bench.

“Exactly!” Mitch said in agreement and listened to her second response and tilted his head as he thought about it for a second. “But you have no problem with being alone then I assume?” He had a theory but thought it would be best not to share at the moment.

“It...well, it is what it is,” she shrugged. Being alone had become her life, so she was used to it. Would it be nice to have someone in her life? Perhaps. But, she wasn’t going to fuss about it. “I’m a capable adult, I don’t mind being on my own, but if something comes up, I guess I’m not opposed.”

Dylan chuckled. “I have too, well not eaten eaten but had like a snack or a drink and I have also napped in the tub but I’m so exhausted I don’t even think I have the energy to make it to my apartment.”

“Oh, I’ve done a full meal from the bath before. That and a glass of wine? Can’t beat it,” Remy agreed with a soft laughter. It was one of the few opportunities she afforded herself to relax. “Do you...have someone that could carry you up there?”

“That’s dedication I guess…” She replied with a shrug but smiled. “As long as you’re happy and don’t feel empty inside then it’s perfect right! At least tell me you make room for some sexual time with a parter or one night stand!” Rebecca teased laughing and finished her drink in one last swallow. 

Remy’s eyebrows drew together, narrowing with a frown. She didn’t know the woman she was speaking to and for her to be so crass with her questions didn’t endear Remy at all. “That’s certainly not your business at all,” she answered, shortly. With so many people out there trying to drag information out of her for some news article, she had to be careful with anything she said to strangers.

Dylan had made it as far as the park, she was so close, like she could see her building right there but she was exhausted. She felt someone sit next to her and she sighed deeply. “Have you ever been so tired, hungry and in need of a bath so bad that you’re considering how impossible it’d be to nap in the shower while having dinner?” She asked out loud.

Remy didn’t love exercise, but she had no real choice in the matter. To stay at the top of her industry, there were expectations she had to meet and her appearance was one of them. Feeling a bit winded, she sat at the bench to take a break, her head lifting towards the woman at her side. “A much easier prospect if you take a bath. Though, I’ve eaten in the shower before? It’s possible?”

“Total icon. I wish I had her wardrobe.” she laughed “No way seriously?” she gushed “That’s pretty awesome. I’ve only ever met designers and a couple other you tubers.. No one that big yet.” 

“Her wardrobe? She’s kind of a floating head,” Remy questioned with a slight look of confusion before shaking her head. “But yeah, it was neat. She’s nobody really famous, just works for the company now, but still someone very fascinating to talk to.”

“Never?!” Rebecca asked with her eyes widening and chuckled a little. “Not even a week or two just, well, to get away from it all and go relax in a foreign country? Why? I mean I love my job too but, I still like some downtime….”

“I...well, no? I don’t suppose that I do that at all,” Remy shrugged, not seeing what the big deal was. She liked her job enough that she didn’t need the break. “I guess I just consider parts of what I do for work downtime? It’s just...my life.”

“Oh my god yes!” she squeaked and clapped her hands happily. “That’s my fave too!”  she tilted her head “I love the fortune teller - shes like my fave.. I’d totally be one if I could” she laughed softly 

“Madame Leota? Of course. She’s an icon,” Remy agreed with a half grin. It was easy to get into any conversation revolving around Disney, since so much of her life had been dedicated to the company. She had a lot invested in it and a lot of connection to it as well. “I’ve actually met her daughter, she’s working for the company as well.”

“I guess the little dolls just remind me of clowns..”  she admitted “ I hate those things, give me the absolute creeps” as they walked along. “Would you say it’s your favourite ride?” 

“Fair. There are a few in there that are actually clowns,” she nodded. They were certainly a little creepier than the rest of the dolls that were there on display, she couldn’t argue against that. “No, though, not at all. Give me Haunted Mansion all day.”

Lexie laughed. “I love sparkly water, it makes me feel fancy.” she joked and shuddered “No way.. That ride gives me the creeps. All those eyes staring at you..” she shook her head “No thanks”. Looking between the pair she smirked. “Mhm.. And I’m the head of munchkin town.” 

“Does it? I guess the really fancy places do often serve it,” she agreed. It wasn’t something she ever specifically sought out, but it was good enough. “There’s a lot to see on the ride. I mean, the amount of work that went into it and the different cultures and all? It’s neat.” She may have been biased due to her ties to Disney, but she thought most of the rides were charming.

“Totally. Like, you can tell who they are usually, but…there’s always something that doesn’t quite translate,” she agreed with a half nod. For her, it was usually when she was out all dolled up that people could barely recognize her, since she was best known for being in her jersey. “Oh, yeah? Any in particular I should keep an eye out for? I’m not too up on the music scene, so we’re just kind of…listening to whatever.”

There probably were a lot of good bands out at the event, but Remy had to admit she had no idea what the line up would be. She only knew that she was looking out for one band in particular, only assuming they would be there that night. “Mm, well, I don’t know who all is going to be out, but I’m sure most of them should be worth listening to. Wouldn’t be out there if they weren’t at least somewhat good,” Remy shrugged.

“Are you finally able to enjoy some time off or are you working on a new script?” Rebecca asked with a smirk and raised an eyebrow curiously. She knew this woman could refuse to tell her anything but it was still worth a try.

“Oh, I never take time off. There’s always something that I’m working on,” Remy answered with a shake of her head. She didn’t see the need to take much in the way of time off, not when she enjoyed her job as much as she did.
