You and your best friend haven’t talked to each other in a while after losing your parents. Until one day, your friend reaches out to you about Starford Festival. Celebrate the festival with your best friend and reminisce about your past together! Tradition says when you light sparklers while watching the late-night fireworks, a great change will come to your life! Enjoy a slice-of-life-filled prologue!
This story takes place around 1.5 years before the main events of Remnant: Twenty-One. You never knew demons existed until now. Join the Organization and take arms to enact a battle against the Apostles, a secret society that wishes to open the Gates of Hell. Manifest your powers based on the prologue. Will you get your revenge or will you fall before you can achieve it?

The skies are gray. Devils run amok. Is this some sick divine punishment by some sort of god? Your body is no longer yours. Will you survive this world or will it break you? You’re taken to a mysterious room and greeted by two strangers. They tell you that your life is no longer, but you aren’t necessarily dead. You cross through a door on the other side of the room and enter a world similar to your own. Except, there’s the existence of demons, Devils, and other supernatural entities. Not only that, you’re trapped in the body of the Chosen One, the hero who will save humanity. The issue is there’s no time for training or preparing, the final battle is in five days!
Fight against Caph and the four Enforcers. One Enforcer for each day which will test the potential of your main character. Meet new/‘old’ teammates that will aid you in the final battle. Maybe even find some love with them? There might be a more sinister force out there than the Devils. Survive to the best of your abilities in this new world. Good luck out there, Remnant Twenty-One.

Apollo/Anna [M/F]
Your best friend you haven’t spoken to in a year. Celebrate the Starford Festival with them and recall the memories you had together in high school and college. Perhaps you can find love at the festival as well?
Syo [M]
An odd man with an eye patch. He has a casual attitude to most things and has a lax personality. However, it seems as if he knows a lot more than he actually leads on. Have you seen him in another story?
Tenth [F]
A stoic woman with strong convictions. She’s quite serious most of the time. She gives Syo a hard time for his laziness. She wants what’s best for people and wishes for them to reach their full potential, although her methods can be quite unhealthy. She's also a hopeless romantic.
Abel/Belle [M/F]
This person has a wild heart and a passionate personality. They can be quite too much for people and they’re intense all around. Abrasive and rude. Could there be more layers to this individual?

This person was born from a high stature. Manners are everything in this world. Reputation is king. How you present yourself is life and death. They have high expectations of how people should behave. Are you proper enough?

You’re on opposing sides. Is it possible for you to shake this person’s convictions and join you? Or will you meet a tragic fate in your journey for their love?
A powerful contract user that was close to the Chosen One. They came back to things being much more different. How will they react that you're no longer the person they loved. There are more mysteries and problems for this person.
Anja [F]
A cheerful individual who acts as the communicator for the team. She often likes to keep things lighthearted. However, she hides her internal struggles for the sake of the mission. Will she make it to the very end?
Sigma [M]
A clueless musclehead through thick and thin. He's incredibly strong and has a heart of gold. Yet, he still yearns to learn the truth of who he is. Can he forgive himself in time, or will he die with regrets?
Uri [M]
A man who doesn't really know how to talk to people properly. He has trouble expressing his true feelings, but there's no changing the fact that he deeply cares for the team. He holds the Chosen One in high regard. Will you raise him up or will he crumble?
LOVE all the characters albeit I’m very biased towards our OP Squad of Tenth, Syo, and AB (haven’t seen enough of H for now) the dynamic between them plus MC is chefs kiss, La Sous is envious 💔 because fuck you mean there’s a team comprised of 2 of the most powerful people(?) of the strongest rank in your organization and 2 rookies who had an emergency execution AND a guy who got promoted to said highest rank called on them like yeah no wonder some of these other guys are throwing a fit how stacked is this team 😭

Also, I'm glad that you are starting to like Giove. My goal with writing him was to make him a jerk, but a semi-reasonable jerk :D
Also yes, the Syo date was quite enjoyable to write, I do wonder if anyone experienced the rejection scene. As for the post-paranoia game, it's odd on how the selected person ended up in your bed ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Did you do the Ib torture simulator or did you experience a pleasant dream? Who did you go on a date with? How was the game of paranoia? Is H epic or not epic? I wanna know!

I love this story already, I have a question cause in AA when Apollo is dreaming thanks to the demon and saw MC, there is the choices to make the physical appearance, that physical appearance at first looks like the Apollo one, but then MC is talking with that same appearance, is some kind of symbolism about how Apollo thought that person was MC but in reality they were making peace with themselves? And we were actually making AA appearance? Or it was indeedc appearance and I misunderstood everything?
If its the later, do we have an actual physical description about AA?
Pd I just realise i started calling them Apollo, but Im referring to AA in general! Sorry~

As for your question, AA sees an ideal version of themselves alongside with the MC. AA describes their own appearance during this part. My intent for this was to set the foundation for AA taking the MC helm for this route.
I think people figured this out, but there's no true canon physical description of AA. As for why the MC doesn't formulate it yet, I'll let readers interpret why :P
So much fighting and fighting! I think it's time for a vacation for the team. Before the Incident will receive an update mid to late June. The time is now to confess your attraction to some of your coworkers, have a jolly old time, and chill. But trouble will bubble in the shadows--BUT who cares about all of that 😎
not sure if you've read/watched dungeon meshi before, but there's a part where the cast face doppelgangers that mimic them based on their memories/perception/impressions of each other.
if the BTI gang faced something similar, what would their doppelgangers look like? like what's their perception of each other or a particularly strong impression they have of another? maybe AB's memory of Syo is a cyclops with an eyepatch lol
I have watched Dungeon Meshi and this episode was one of my favorites. Not going to lie, I might store this idea for a later time as a side story, so thank you for the idea anon 👀
As for AB's perception of Syo it would definitely be a permanent silly face / exaggerated, kinda like those non-detailed gag expressions in manga
okay but on a serious note i found this story like 2 days ago and i absolutely love the hECK out of it (the pain is delicious yummy) and usually im not one to replay stories cuz i tend to stay with my "canon" choices but the AA route genuinely piqued my interest like yes loml i fully support ur idea <333

just curious, what happens to AB or the normal route characters in AA route? does AB just keep snoozing in the pod without MC to wake them up? or will we get to see them eventually and find out
I hope you're all enjoying the story of BTI so far, I did have a question regarding pacing. Because I'm writing a lot of branching paths, it's hard for me to get a good grasp of the pacing for a single play through. I'd love to hear your thoughts on the story's pacing and other parts regarding the structure, plot, etc.
