I stopped in my tracks, when I saw Remus fast asleep, soft snores escaping him.

Smiling wholeheartedly, I placed the hot chocolate and pastries on my bedside table.

Carefully, I moved him a bit without waking him and sat down beside him, easing his head onto my lap.

Running my fingers through his hair, I smiled down at him and closed my eyes as well.
