fr like as much as we love that he died, he is a lab rat weapon of mass destruction that a corporation created that got killed the moment he got out of control and made into an example while the corporation that made him lives on.

but the boys is an amazon show, i don’t think they would’ve gone that far with the commentary. ofc #notallsups but hughie killing butcher bc butcher wanted to dethrow the system is kinda difficult to deal with… kimiko travelling the world is a+, m&m remarrying… sure, it makes sense. ryan standing up for himself was pretty cool. but the show deleting annie’s childfreedom the moment she didn’t need to be a symbol of revolution anymore is kinda sad, but if anyone was gonna have kids, at least it’s the bland white people lmao annie’s childfreedom is what made her interesting to me, but them being the blandest couple is sad but true (also I know robin was hughie’s ex and that’s a homage, but annie being batman and having a child called robin? lmao)

and sage, well… ignorance is bliss being her ending is kinda sad, she could’ve had a simple life and used her powers for good, like be a witch in the woods extremely grumpy but yeah, she sacrificed herself to check if kimikos powers were working (wasn’t there anything else that could’ve been done?) so, sure, yeah, ride off into the sunset, smartest woman in the world who is delighted not to be that smart anymore :/

also daveed diggs’ character (which i loved lmao) being the sexually deviant being killed by a sex toy by the family man™️, i don’t know if i vibe with that, i actually liked his and ashley’s dynamic lmao evil friends with benefits, you know! lmao yeah the more I think about it, the less I like it but, you know what? it’s a superhero show from the us by amazon, I’d I wanted something truly revolutionary, I should’ve been watching something else lol at least matrix 4 wasn’t this bad lol

and I saw people comparing homelander to drake, and that’s 100% accurate, and I feel sad for drake tbqh but _it is what it is_ at least drake has the choice not to be delusional, homelander didn’t even get a grey moment like darth vader. damn. oh well. I’m not a homelander apologist but yeah, vought still being a thing after all this really sucks. kinda reminds me of the attack on titan ending tbh
