Warrior OCs from my years-long Sims 3 challenge! The tan cat is Talonstride (she/her) and the black cat is Hailcloud (she/her). Both were deputies from different Clans until Talonstride left hers to be with Hailcloud, and now that they're in the same Clan they don't have to hide their love anymore :]

One of the most important things I've ever seen about the creative process was on a poster on someone's studio door during an open art studio event by my home. I haven't see it since, and I don't know how common it is.

The stages of creativity:

felt unreasonably uninspired over the last couple of weeks as well as tired from work so as a artistic masochist I've tried to push myself out of the slump by drawing some of the eniviroments of meadowclan and um..backgrounds are... hard xD

either way somehow ended with a a very loose drawing of them cats interacting

mostly Hawkeye rambling to Stormtail about how terrible of a leader Goldstar is while she's aiming to gather up cats for the sunhigh border patrol

in the back is Goldstar with Flamejumper, one of the more background cats in the story

I like Flamejumper a lot, he has yet to do anything problematic unlike the rest of his clan XD

I'm sharing this here since I think it could reach more folks in the Warriors community who could provide some insight- but basically, in my ongoing Sims 3 Warriors challenge called "Clans of the Island," one of the biggest issues has been how the clans live super isolated lives, and living on an island pretty much cut off from the world beyond doesn't exactly help. And now, there's two deaf kits in two different clans, and as of right now they're the only deaf cats on the island. So I'm trying to figure out how to handle the communication gap and how these kits adapt in a way that's respectful of the irl deaf community and also makes sense for their world.

I've tried doing research, but everything I can find is about writing deaf humans or training deaf pets, which only helps on a surface level but these are fictional wild cats in an extremely isolated community, which there obviously aren't really any sources for.

There's more information in the linked post, along with some of my brainstorming, so if anyone has any input I'd love to know your thoughts! (the post is public btw, no membership needed)
