I was rereading Chronicles of Amber recently to scratch my nostalgia. Shipping Luke/Merlin like crazy

I'm not even sure how long I'm struggling with this work. The first draft was made more than a year ago, for sure. It's not like I'm a big fan of the realistic art style either, but it just felt more like him in the 2nd picture.
