Post Thanksgiving...

Ugh, Kitten, I think this might be a multi-day food coma.  I nearly nodded off at the bar this evening, and that was after messing up two drink orders in a row.  I’m rustier than I thought.

My sleep schedule is all out of sync, and I’ve just been feeling so damned restless lately…sorry.  Apparently today I’ve conscripted you as my complaint sounding board.  Distract me, won’t you?

I’d rather not break out our nice clothes unless absolutely necessary. I will, however, need to invest in more black colored clothes for when I start my first shift this week…an old friend managed to pull some strings to land me a bar tending gig.  It’s not the best, but it’s a start for now.  I wouldn’t hold it past Dad to ask you about grandkids…he’s been nagging at Hunter about them too.  He’s itching to have a grandchild to spoil rotten.  But all of that madness aside…you’re right, we’re in this together.  This is our life.

I liked it, it'd been a while since my last roadtrip. Mm, and that's why I want to unpack a few clothes, so we can shower and change and I can not look too awful in front of your parents after spending a whole day in the car. I'm sure we can manage that 24hour nap tmorrow though, we deserve it.

…22 hours in a car…with a dog and a cat that refused to sleep…so much traffic…I’m so damned tired.
