Feed the cat. Not eat the cat. It was crazy how easy it was to completely fuck up the German language, and in his fifth year of practice, he should've known the difference between eating and feeding. In all fairness, it was a small u sound that tripped him up -- anyone could've made the mistake. But he made it during a presentation, in his first week of college. Cheeks flushed, hands in his pockets and eyes on the sidewalk, Charlie sprint-walked towards the parking lot only to knock right into someone. Good going. "I'm so, so sorry." Eyes widening, he knelt down and started to gather the things that had been dropped in the exchange before offering them up to the person they belonged to. He squinted through the sunlight to see them as he stood, brushing his knees off. "I should've been looking up."
