ok so theres this monastery right? and its got a lot of fields surrounding it where the monks grow their own food because they're completely self sufficient and any donations they receive go to the poor. one day during a storm the roof gets damaged and they dont have the money to pay for it to be fixed, so the rain gets in and the snow gets in and the cold gets in and everyones miserable. eventually one of the monks approaches the abbot and says that hes been growing flowers in the fields in his spare time, and now he has a lot of excess pretty flowers that he could sell to help pay for the roof. the abbot refuses and tells him that under no circumstances is he to sell church flowers to the public. the monk pretends to obey but secretly continues growing flowers and selling them to the local village. after a few months the abbot goes to check on the broken patch of roof and is shocked to find that its been completely fixed without his knowledge or approval, and he's even more shocked when one of the other monks tells him that the money came from selling flowers. more than that, the roof has been fixed for weeks and the monk is still selling flowers out of greed. he ponders what to do for a few days, then buys some sheep from a local farmer and lets them loose in the flower field to eat all the flowers, which proves successful. this is because only ewes can prevent florist friars.

Jevin and Cleo are a duo I did not know I needed, but I am LIVING for their constant bickering right now. The fact that literally every time I’ve seen them interact this season they’ve just been at one another the whole time. Bonus points for all the other Hermits who happened to be with them at the time who are actually trying to stay on task and keep having to be like “would y’all stop trying to kill each other for 2 seconds and focus” and they’re just like “fiiiiiiine” and then they’ll turn around and they immediately start fighting again. Like all the other hermits are the really exhausted parents and Jevin and Cleo are the kids on those little backpack leashes. They’re actually like siblings squabbling and I am living for it.
