I've been reminiscing on TMGS3 for a while, so I decided to take a re-do on my self insert oc!!
This is Takeuchi Rio, one of the "rivals" in TMGS3. Then again, I'm unsure if that would be the correct name for her.
Rio is a side character that has the potential of being a girl friend to Bambi the way Miyo and Karen are, but she also has secret content the player would have to actively look into to get her to date anybody.
Simply put, Rio is half japanese, half mexican. She's staying in Japan with her father for academic reasons, and she spent most of her last middle school year alone. Enter Bambi.
Bambi has the opportunity to meet Rio with either 50 Art stat or the 50 Sports stat, both with different perspectives on who she seems to be. After that, Bambi gets her number and has:
A) The chance to visit her at work in the arcade and win prizes (which will lead for extra gifts for the boys should you lack money to buy anything for birthdays or christmas)
B) Hang out
Now, u may be wondering, where does the "rival" part enter? Well, I think I would better define it as wingwoman work.
Rio has the potential of dating two of the love interests in game, Arashi or Junpei, both with different conditions which involve Bambi's decisions. If you decide to pursue either, Rio won't intervene, but will make a joke or two on your "crush", which would happen with every boy.
There is an event where Bambi can encourage Rio to become the Judo club manager even though she doesn't like sports that much and she also doesn't like Arashi that much. With that, hanging out with her in her own tiny icon would allow to enter events where you either push her to grow closer to Arashi or Junpei, depending on if you've met Junpei and he's joined the Judo club.
She will not date them both at the same time, but she can also date neither if Bambi doesn't push her to choose anything. She's by default not interested in romance, and has essentially three routes, Arashi's, Junpei's and Bambi's (With a lot of Romantic Tension that remind me of my own failures in girl love).
This is way too much info dumping LMAOSWJSDE but like, I had her hidden for so long, she at least deserves something lol
