[15] The Trouble with Tribbles I.E. Kirk and Spock spend 50 minutes sassing everyone out.

Kirk and Spock casually enjoying shoreleave together, but Spock won't have any beverages.

The entire bar fight with the Klingons.

Spock and McCoy bickering in the lab. "Better than I like you." / "They do not talk too much." Spock so hurt. 💔

Kirk hates Nilz Baris so much.

Spock has coffee on his tunic after this scene so I imagine Kirk got it on him.

Everyone smiles at Spock (especially Kirk) and he gets so SHY!

"Are you running a nursery, Lieutenant?"

Klingon is way too into Kirk?

From my Star Trek 'scrapbook' thing S02E01 Amok Time

I'll transcribe everything into regular text as best as I can because I know my handwriting is a hot mess. ✨ It's mostly descriptions of my favourite things, things I noticed, or my favourite quotes etc. And there's pleeeenty I love about this episode, but man, I could only fit so much in the book per episode. 🥲

First episode I saw! ❤️

McCoy being the first to notice something is wrong.

"Very impressive. Very diplomatic."

Kirk pleading with spock to tell him what's going on so he can help in some way. He tells Spock how much he cares for him and needs him without directly saying it. It's so tense and beautiful...

Spock resists telling him but eventually breaks town and tells him about the secret Vulcan "Pon Farr — the time of mating."

This episode is basically 98% gay sexual tension. 🌈

"Why must he die? ... Why MUST he die?!"

"I owe him my life a dozen times over. Isn't that worth a career? He's my friend."

This episode originated the 'fuck or die' trope, apparently.

So much tense eye contact and physicality.

Kirk gentle, but firm. Spock can barely speak.

"How do Vulcans choose their mates? Haven't you wondered?"

Kirk wondering if he's being propositioned:

"...Biology." "What kind of biology?" "VULCAN biology." "You mean the biology... of Vulcans? 'Biology' — as in — reproduction?" "..." "...There's no need to be embarrassed about it, Mister Spock..."

One of my favourite shots in the whole show. Stardew/StarTrek Valley: Kirk (Elliot) Crossover Thing

I recently replayed Stardew Valley and pretended I was Spock. He married Elliot because… Elliot is very much like Kirk (hear me out). He's romantic and sweet; he loves the ocean and lives beside it; he's emotional and empathetic; he loves literature and writes books/poetry... Hell, he even *looks* a bit like Kirk, honestly. Just with long hair. And fancier outfit.

Anyway so that’s my sketch of Kirk/Elliot.

Some more nonsense, another sketch, and some screenshots of my playthrough under the cut. [[Spoilers for Stardew Valley, though.]]

You can get an item that means you have a parrot following you around all the time. I liked that a lot: the idea of Spock having/tolerating a bird, like a pirate companion. He wore the "Officer" shirt... as he would. 🙃 He wore a beanie to start with (to hide his ears) but once he was more comfortable, he wore a crown.

The farm was called the Enterprise Farm.

I laughed during the cutscene with Abigail because it was just a coincidence that he whipped out a small harp (let’s pretend it was a Vulcan harp) and started playing. I was unaware that was going to happen.

Tried to decorate the house space-y, and also with lots of green and plants. The bed area had Vulcan-drama (weapons and a red curtain) but plants and books... etc.

Planted a lot of flowers. We had a pet black cat, a doberman dog, and a nice turtle. Spock also had a parrot.

Has anyone else done mad stuff like this? I’d totally do this with The Sims too but I’ve none installed at the moment.

~Premise~-Themed Pencils🌈✨

So I got these pencils custom made a little while ago, just for funsies. I was recently rearranging art supplies and figured someone on here may get a kick out of seeing them? Hah

They’re references to some of my favourite/iconic emotional Kirk/Spock moments/exchanges. I mean there's plenty, but these were short, sweet, and would fit on a pencil under a character limit. And they’re some of my favourite episodes, too, so…

(*Worth mentioning this phrase is also mentioned in the previous episode S01E28 —City On The Edge Of Forever, which is why it was so notable. Said by Kirk, when he's talking to Edith Keeler. In essence "Let me help" is akin to (or better than) saying "I love you". But I personally think of Spock saying it in "Operation -- Annihilate!" when I see the phrase, because he's saying it to Kirk in desperation. That whole scene is amazing.)
