CONTEXT: After Sakura’s confession to you, your first date was at an amusement park yayayay
Warnings: Nonee!
WC: 5.1k
Sakura stood near the main entrance of the amusement park. He shifted his weight from one foot to the other. His hands were shoved deep into his jacket pockets. His heart was beating much faster than usual. It was beating even faster than it did during his usual street fights. He hated that he felt so nervous. He pulled his collar up to hide the red color covering up his neck.
Sakura looked down at his clothes. He wore his usual, casual style, but he had spent an extra ten minutes in front of the mirror fixing his hair. Sakura blinked quickly as he scanned the crowd of people walking through the ticket gates. Every time someone with your hair color walked by, his posture went completely stiff.
"Why did I agree to this?" he muttered to himself. He kicked a small pebble on the sidewalk. "An amusement park? There’s too many people out here. It’s too loud."
But he knew exactly why he was here. He was here because you had asked him. Well, technically, you had suggested it, and he had shouted a loud "Fine! Do whatever you want!" which was, of course, his own messy way of saying yes. He liked you, he liked you a lot. He just had no idea how to show it without looking like an angry, blushing fool.
"Sakura!"
He heard your voice cut through the loud noise of the crowd. He froze. He slowly turned his head and saw you jogging toward him. You were wearing a comfortable outfit perfect for a long day of walking, and you had a giant smile on your face. You looked happy to see him, and that simple fact made his stomach do a strange flip.
"You’re late!" Sakura barked out as soon as you stopped in front of him.
He did not mean for his voice to sound so harsh, but he couldn’t stop it. His face was burning hot as he looked away from you, staring intently at a nearby ice cream poster instead of looking into your eyes.
You just laughed softly since you were already used to his rough way of talking. "I’m actually five minutes early, Sakura. You must’ve gotten here really early if you think I am late."
"I did not!" he lied loudly, his voice squeaking just a bit. "I just got here a minute ago! Don't say stupid things!"
In reality, he had been standing by the gate for a full forty-five minutes. He was constantly checking his phone every thirty seconds, terrified that he would miss you or that you would change your mind at any moment.
"Okay, okay, if you say so," you said with a bright grin. You held up the two entry tickets. "I already bought the passes online, so we don’t have to wait in that huge line over there. Are you ready to go?"
Sakura looked at the massive colorful archway of the park. He could hear the faint sound of music playing from speakers and the distant screams of people riding a giant roller coaster. He swallowed hard. He felt completely out of his usual self. He was a guy who knew how to protect a town, how to throw a punch, and how to stand up to bad guys, but he certainly did’nt know anything about being a normal teenager on a normal date.
"Yeah," he mumbled, stuffing his hands back into his pockets. "Let's just get it over with."
You didn't mind his grumpy words, not at all. Instead, you actually found it really cute. You reached out and lightly grabbed his sleeve to lead him toward the scanner. Even though you only touched his jacket fabric, Sakura flinched as if he had been shocked by electricity. He stared down at your hand on his arm, his eyes wide. His face went so red that he looked like a ripe tomato in Umemiya’s garden.
"Don't just drag me around," he whispered, but he didn’t pull his arm away. He let you lead him through the gates and into the bustling crowd of the park.
Once you were inside, the sights and smells hit you both at once. There was the sweet smell of hot churros, fried popcorn, and cotton candy in the air. Bright balloons shaped like cartoon animals bobbed in the breeze as groups of friends and families were walking everywhere, holding maps and pointing at different tall structures.
You stopped by a large wooden sign that had a colorful map of the entire park printed on it. "Let's see," you said, tapping your chin. "There are four different zones. There’s the Fantasy Zone, the Adventure Zone, the Sci-Fi Zone, and the Horror Zone. Where do you want to go first, Sakura?"
Sakura stood a step behind you. He was trying very hard not to look like he was enjoying himself, but his eyes were wide as he looked around. "I don't care," he muttered. "You pick. I don't know anything about this stuff."
"Come on, you must have a preference," you said, turning around to face him. "Do you like fast rides? Or do you want to start with something easy?"
Sakura crossed his arms over his chest. He looked at the giant metal tracks of a roller coaster that looped upside down in the sky. He had never been on one before. He would never admit it out loud, but the height looked a little bit scary. He was fast and agile on the ground, but being strapped into a mechanical chair high up in the air was a totally different story.
"I am not scared of anything," Sakura said proudly, lifting his chin. "I can handle whatever stupid ride you choose."
"Is that a challenge?" you teased, a mischievous spark in your eyes. "Because the biggest roller coaster in the park is right over there in the Adventure Zone. It is called the Thunder Dragon. It has three loops and a huge drop."
Sakura looked over at the track. Just at that moment, a train car full of people rushed down the steep hill at a crazy speed. The riders screamed at the top of their lungs. The sound echoed across the park.
Sakura’s throat went dry. He wanted to run away, but his pride was too strong. He could not back down in front of you. If he backed down, he wouldn't be a strong fighter and he wouldn't be someone you could rely on.
"Hah! That looks like a piece of cake!" Sakura yelled, though his voice shook a tiny bit at the end. "Let's go then! Don't cry if you get scared!"
"I won't cry," you laughed, grabbing his hand this time instead of just his sleeve.
When your fingers wrapped around his, Sakura completely stopped breathing for a second. Your hand was warm and soft. His hand was rough, with a few small scars on his knuckles from past fights. He wanted to pull away because his hand was starting to sweat from nerves, but your grip was firm and steady. It felt too good to let go.
He looked down at your joined hands, then up at the back of your head as you started walking toward the Adventure Zone. A strange, warm feeling filled his chest. It was a feeling he had never experienced before in his life. It was the feeling of someone wanting him around, not for his strength or his fighting skills, but just for him.
The line for the Thunder Dragon was very long. The sign at the entrance of the queue said there was a forty-five-minute wait. Sakura looked at the long line of people winding back and forth between metal railings.
"We have to stand here for that long?" he asked, frowning. He hated standing still, it made him feel restless.
"It moves fast, I promise," you said, stepping into the line. "And it gives us time to talk."
"Talk about what?" Sakura asked, looking away. "There is nothing to talk about."
"We can talk about anything," you said cheerfully. "Like… what’s your favorite food? I know you like Kotoha’s cooking at the cafe, but what else do you like?"
Sakura blinked. No one usually asked him simple questions like that. "Omurice," he said quietly after a short pause. "Kotoha makes it good."
"Omurice is delicious," you agreed. "Do you like sweet things too? Like cake or candy?"
"No," Sakura said quickly. Then, he remembered something and mumbled, "Maybe... maybe chocolate, but only a little bit. It is not like I love it or anything!" (Ref to “it’s not like I like you or anything!”)
You smiled softly at his quick denial. "Good to know. I will remember that."
As the minutes passed, Sakura’s bravery was starting to fade. He kept looking up at the massive vertical drop. He notice how high up it went. It looked like it went all the way into the clouds. He swallowed hard, his palms were definitely sweaty now. He tried to gently slide his hand out of yours so you wouldn't notice, but you noticed anyway.
You looked at him and saw how pale his face had become. His eyes were wide and fixed on the highest point of the ride. It looked like he was about to throw up at any moment.
"Sakura?" you asked softly. "Are you doing okay?"
"Of course I am!" he said, his voice a little too loud. A few people in line turned to look at him, and he instantly lowered his head, cursing under his breath. "I told you, I am fine. This is nothing."
"You know, we don’t have to ride this if you don’t want to," you said gently. You did not want him to feel uncomfortable. "We can go find a smaller ride. There’s no shame in skipping it."
"No!" Sakura said, looking at you with sudden intensity. His eyes were fierce. "I’m not a coward. I said I would ride it with you, so I’m gonna ride it. I don't break my word."
You saw the determination in his face, but you also saw the fear. Instead of arguing, you just squeezed his hand tighter. "Okay. We will ride it together. If it gets too scary, you can just close your eyes and hold onto me, okay?"
"I don't need to hold onto you," he muttered, but his face turned a light shade of pink again. He did not let go of your hand for the rest of the wait.
Finally, it was your turn. The metal gates opened, and you walked onto the platform. The previous riders got off, looking dizzy but happy. The ride operator pointed you toward the front row.
"The front row!" you exclaimed. "Wow, we’re so lucky!"
Sakura looked at the empty seats at the very front of the train. There would be nothing in front of him except the open sky and a giant drop. He felt like his soul was about to leave his body, but sat down anyways in the plastic seat, and his legs felt like jelly.
You sat down next to him. A heavy black safety bar came down over your shoulders and clicked tightly into place across your chest. Sakura grabbed the handles on the safety bar so hard that his knuckles turned completely white.
"Are you ready?" you asked, turning your head to look at him.
Before he could answer, a loud buzzer sounded. The train gave a small jerk and began to roll forward out of the station.
The train moved slowly out into the bright sunlight. Then, it hit the lift hill. A heavy chain beneath the track caught the train, and it started to climb up the steep incline.
Clink. Clink. Clink. Clink.
The sound of the mechanical chain was loud and steady. With every click, the cars moved higher and higher above the ground. Sakura looked over the side of the car. The people below looked like tiny ants. The massive buildings of the amusement park now looked like small toys.
"Don't look down," you told him, seeing his eyes widen. "Look straight ahead at the view. It is really pretty."
Sakura looked straight ahead. He could see the whole city from up here. He could see the mountains in the distance, and he could even see the general direction of Makochi. The view was beautiful, but he couldn’t enjoy it, not when the train was reaching the very top of the hill.
The clicking sound stopped.
The train reached the peak. For one horrible, breathless second, the front car hung over the edge of the vertical drop. Sakura looked down at the vertical track leading straight down to the ground.
"Oh no," he whispered.
The train plummeted down the hill at an incredible speed. The wind slammed into Sakura’s face, blowing his hair wildly in all directions. The force of the speed pushed him back deep into his seat.
"Ahhhhh!" you screamed with excitement, throwing your hands up into the air.
Sakura did not scream. He couldn't. His mouth was open, but no sound came out because his brain was completely fried by the shock. The world became a blur of blue sky and green grass as the train hit the bottom of the hill and shot straight up into the first giant loop.
They went upside down. Sakura felt his body lift slightly against the safety harness. He felt completely weightless. Then the train turned sharply to the right, throwing them both to the side.
Without thinking, Sakura reached his hand across the small space between your seats. He blindly grabbed for anything he could find. His fingers found your hand, which was resting on the handle. He gripped your hand with immense force, really desperate for some kind of support.
You quickly gripped him back, your fingers intertwined with his.
The train went through two more smaller loops and lots of sharp twists. Sakura kept his eyes open the whole time. He didn't want to miss anything, even if it was terrifying. He saw the world spinning around him, but the one constant thing he felt was the tight, warm grip of your hand that kept him from completely losing his mind.
With a loud screech of mechanical brakes, the train finally slowed down and rolled back into the shaded station. The ride was over.
The safety bars unlocked and popped open with a heavy click. You let out a big breath and laughed happily. "Wow! That was amazing! My heart’s beating so fast!" You looked over at Sakura. "How was it?"
Sakura sat completely still for a moment. His hair was a messy nest, pointing in every direction. His eyes were wide and unfocused. He looked like he had just seen a ghost.
"Sakura?" you asked, getting worried. "Are you okay?"
Slowly, his eyes came back into focus. He looked at you, then down at his hand, which was still holding yours tightly. He quickly pulled his hand away and stuffed it into his pocket, his face instantly turning bright red.
"That... that was nothing!" he shouted, though his legs trembled violently as he stood up from the car. He almost tripped over his own feet as he stepped out of the platform. "It wasn't scary at all! I could do that ten more times!"
You followed him down the exit ramp, smiling at his stubbornness. You could see his ears were completely red. "Sure, sure. But let's get something to drink first. My throat’s dry from screaming."
"Fine," he muttered, walking quickly ahead of you to hide the fact that his knees were still shaking.
You found a small food stall near a large water fountain. The stall sold cold drinks and giant snacks.
"What do you wanna drink, Sakura?" you asked, looking at the menu board. "They have melon soda, cola, lemonade, and iced tea."
"Melon soda," he said quietly. He was sitting on a wooden bench under the shade of a large cherry blossom tree. He was finally starting to calm down after the wild roller coaster ride.
"Two melon sodas, please," you told the worker at the counter. You paid for the drinks and also bought a large container of freshly popped caramel popcorn. The sweet smell was too good to pass up.
You walked back over to the bench and sat down next to Sakura. You handed him his green drink. The plastic cup was covered in cold water droplets. He took it and immediately pressed the cold cup against his hot cheek, letting out a soft sigh of relief.
"Here, I got some popcorn too," you said, holding the bucket out between you two. "It’s caramel flavor."
Sakura looked at the popcorn. He hesitated for a second, then reached his hand in and picked up a single piece. He popped it into his mouth. The crunchy, sweet taste exploded on his tongue. His eyes lit up slightly.
"Is it good?" you asked.
"It’s okay," he managed to say, trying to act cool, but he immediately reached into the bucket to grab three more pieces.
You giggled at his actions. "You can have as much as you want. I definitely can’t eat all of this by myself anyway."
He looked over at you. You were drinking your soda, looking around at the scenery with a peaceful expression. You didn't care that he was rough around the edges or that he shouted too much. You were just here with him, enjoying his company.
You could see his eyes crinkling at the corners. He was happy. You smiled and popped another piece of popcorn into your mouth, glad that you could make him feel that way.
The both of you had finished the snacks pretty quickly, so you decided to explore the Fantasy Zone. The area was filled with colorful tents, spinning carousels, and rows of carnival game booths.
"Look at that!" you pointed to a booth with a large sign that said 'Knock Down the Cans!'.
On the top shelf of the booth hung several large plush toys. One of them was a big, fluffy white cat with a tiny black hat on its head. It looked incredibly soft and cute.
"That cat looks so cute," you said wistfully, stopping to look at it.
Sakura stopped next to you. He looked at the cat plushie, then looked at the expression on your face. He noticed the way your eyes shined when you looked at the toy. Something inside him clicked. This was something he could actually pull off.
He marched right up to the counter and slammed a dollar bill down on the wooden surface. "Gimme the balls," he said confidently.
The game worker smiled big. "All right, young man! Here you go. Three baseballs. You have to knock all six cans completely off the platform to win the grand prize."
"Watch this," Sakura said to you over his shoulder, a confident smirk appearing on his face. "I’m gonna get that stupid cat for you."
"Go for it, Sakura!" you cheered, clapping your hands together.
Sakura took a deep breath. He pulled his arm back, balancing his weight on his back foot just like he did when he was preparing to land a powerful punch. He aimed right at the center of the pyramid. With a sharp exhale, he threw the ball with a lot of speed.
CRASH!
The ball hit the cans dead center. The sound of metal slamming against metal was incredibly loud. But when the dust settled, only four of the cans had fallen off the shelf. Two of the bottom cans were still standing there, wobbling slightly but remaining on the platform.
Sakura’s smirk instantly vanished. His eyes widened in shock. "What? How did they not fall? I hit them perfectly!"
Sakura gritted his teeth. He hated losing more than anything, especially when you were watching him. He took the second ball, his grip tightening. He didn't just want to win the toy anymore, he wanted to destroy those stupid cans.
"Calm down, Sakura," you said softly from behind him. "Don't throw it too hard."
"I am calm!" he shouted, though he was full of determination.
He lined up his shot again. He took a slow breath, trying to steady his shaking hands. He threw the second ball. This time, it hit the left can perfectly, knocking it flying off the shelf. But the final can on the right stayed put. It didn't even tip over.
"One ball left, kiddo!" the worker called out. "You need to get that last can off the shelf to win!"
Sakura looked at the single can left on the platform. He felt a bead of sweat roll down his forehead. He had one ball left. If he missed, he would fail to get the stuffed cat you wanted. He couldn't let that happen, not when you seemed so happy.
He looked at the last baseball in his hand. He closed his eyes for a second, forcing his mind to clear. He remembered how you had looked at the fluffy cat plushie. He wanted to see that happy look on your face again.
He opened his eyes. His gaze was sharp and locked onto the target. He didn't use full power this time. He focused purely on accuracy. He snapped his wrist forward and released the ball.
The ball flew straight through the air in a perfect line.
The ball hit the very base of the last can. The force lifted the can up into the air, and it flipped backward, falling off the shelf and dropping to the ground below.
"We have a winner!" the worker yelled, clapping his hands.
"Yes! You did it!" you screamed with joy, jumping up and down. You threw your arms around Sakura’s shoulders in a quick, excited hug. "That was amazing, Sakura! You are so awesome!"
Sakura froze completely as your body pressed against his for that brief second. The heat of the hug made his brain freeze again. When you pulled back, his face was bright red, but a small, proud smile managed to break through him. He rubbed the back of his neck, looking away.
"Hah! Of course I did it," he bragged, trying to sound cool. "I told you it was easy."
The worker reached up and pulled down the giant fluffy white cat plushie. He handed it over the counter to Sakura. "Here is your prize, young man."
Sakura took the large toy. It was very big and soft, almost the size of his entire torso. He held it out toward you, shoving it into your arms with a quick, clumsy motion.
"Here," he mumbled, his eyes fixed on the floor. "Take it. It was annoying to hold anyway."
You took the big plushie and held it tight against your chest. It was incredibly soft. "Thank you, Sakura. I love it so much. I will keep it on my bed every day."
Hearing that you would keep something he won for you made Sakura feel a sense of happiness. He quickly turned around and started walking down the pathway. "Whatever! Let's go find another ride.”
You hurried after him, carrying your giant white cat, your heart full of warmth for the boy walking ahead of you.
As the hours passed, the sun began to set below the horizon. The bright blue sky turned into a beautiful mix of orange, pink, and deep purple. The temperature became cooler, and a gentle evening breeze blew through the park.
All around you, the park changed. The bright daytime colors faded, and thousands of tiny colored lights turned on along the pathways, buildings, and ride tracks. The amusement park looked like a magical glowing city now.
"Are you tired?" you asked Sakura as you walked along the main path. The giant white cat plushie was tucked under your arm.
"No," Sakura said, though he gave a small yawn right after saying it. He quickly covered his mouth and glared at a nearby lamp post as if it was the lamp's fault he yawned.
You smiled. It had been a long day of walking, riding, and screaming. Your own legs were feeling heavy and sore.
"Let's do one last ride before we leave," you suggested. You pointed up at the center of the park, where a massive Ferris wheel stood. Its giant circular frame was covered in beautiful white and blue lights that moved in slow patterns. "The Ferris wheel is perfect for the end of the day. It is slow and relaxing."
Sakura looked up at the giant wheel. It went very high up into the air, but it didn't move fast. It just rotated slowly, carrying small enclosed glass cabins up into the night sky. It looked peaceful.
"Fine," he said softly. "We can do that one."
The line for the Ferris wheel was moving smoothly. Within fifteen minutes, you were guided toward one of the glass cabins. The operator opened the door, and the two of you stepped inside. You sat on one side, placing the large cat plushie next to you. Sakura sat on the bench directly opposite you.
The door clicked shut, locking from the outside. The cabin gave a very gentle shake, and then it began its slow journey upward.
As the cabin rose, the noise of the park below started to fade away. The shouts of people and the loud music became faint whispers. Inside the glass car, it was completely quiet and warm.
Sakura looked out the window. The view was completely different from the roller coaster ride.
"Wow," Sakura whispered, his eyes wide as he stared out the glass. "It is really bright."
You didn't look at the view outside. You looked at Sakura. The shifting white and blue lights from the Ferris wheel reflected in his eyes, making his unique eyes look even more magical. The soft light softened his facial features, making him look peaceful and calm.
"Sakura," you called out softly.
He turned his head away from the window to look at you. "What?"
"Did you have a good time today?" you asked, your voice quiet in the small space of the cabin. "I know it was loud and there were a lot of people, which you usually hate, but I really hope you enjoyed it a little bit."
Sakura stared at you. He looked at your gentle expression, then down at the big plush toy sitting next to you. He thought about the whole day.
He let out a slow breath. He uncrossed his arms and let his hands rest on yours.
"I didn't hate it," he said quietly. He looked down at his shoes, his face turning a soft pink color in the dim light. "It was... it was actually fun. I’ve never done anything like this before. I never thought I would ever do something like this."
He paused, swallowing hard as he tried to find the right words. He wasn't good with words, but he wanted to tell you how he felt.
He slowly lifted his head to look back at you. His eyes were shiny, filled with deep sincerity. "Thanks. For inviting me and for staying with me, I really liked hanging out with you.”
Your heart melted completely at his words. You felt a warm rush of affection for this stubborn, sweet boy. Without a word, you slid off your bench and sat down next to him on his side of the cabin.
Sakura tensed up slightly as you sat close to him, their shoulders touching. But he didn't move away.
You reached out and took his hand, gently sliding your fingers between his until your hands were perfectly locked together. "You do belong somewhere, Sakura. You belong here with me. And you belong in the town with everyone who cares about you. Never forget that."
Sakura stared down at your joined hands. A single tear gathered in the corner of his eye, but he quickly blinked it away before it could fall. He didn't say anything because his throat felt too tight with emotion. Instead, he just tightened his grip on your hand, squeezing it with a gentle but firm pressure.
The cabin finally reached the very top of the Ferris wheel. It paused there for a brief moment, suspended high in the quiet night air, surrounded by the beautiful glowing lights of the world below. Sakura stepped up and sat next to me as I smile.
He slowly leaned his head sideways until it rested gently against your shoulder. His hair felt soft against your neck. He let out a long, peaceful sigh
Part 8: The Journey Home
The ride eventually ended, and the cabin brought you back down to the ground. When the doors opened, the cold night air hit your faces.
The walk to the train station was quiet and peaceful. The loud music of the park was gone, replaced by the gentle sound of crickets singing in the bushes along the sidewalk.
When you reached the station entrance, you stopped and turned to face him. "Well, this is my stop," you said, pointing toward the ticket gates. "My train leaves in a few minutes."
Sakura looked at the station, then back at you. He looked a little bit sad that the day was finally over. He let go of your hand slowly, his fingers dragging along yours as if he didn't want to let go.
"Yeah," he muttered. "Go home safely. Don't drop that stupid cat on the train."
"I won't drop it," you laughed. You stepped forward and quickly pressed a soft kiss against his cheek.
It was a quick, gentle touch, but it had the impact of a lightning bolt. Sakura froze instantly. His eyes went completely round, and his mouth fell open in total shock. His hand flew up to touch the spot on his cheek where your lips had just been. His face became so incredibly hot that he felt like smoke was going to come out of his ears.
"See you tomorrow at school, Sakura!" you said with a giant, happy wave. You turned around and ran through the ticket gates, your fluffy white cat bobbing under your arm as you disappeared into the station crowd.
Sakura stood frozen by the entrance for a full three minutes. People walked past him, giving him strange looks as he stood there like a statue with his hand pressed against his bright red cheek.
Finally, a tiny, genuine smile broke across his face. He lowered his hand and stuffed it deep into his jacket pocket. He turned around and started the long walk back to his own apartment in Makochi town.
His heart was still beating fast, but it wasn't from fear or nervousness anymore. He couldn't wait for tomorrow to see you again.

Sakura aggressively slurped his melon soda, ignoring the painfully awkward flirting happening to his left. Meanwhile, Akihiko Nirei blushed fiercely while Hayato Suo casually leaned in, offering him a masterclass in hand-to-hand combat that looked suspiciously like a date. Sakura just wanted a quiet afternoon at the café.
The three boys from Class 1-1 were sitting at their usual corner booth at Cafe Pothos with Kotoha giggling at the situation.
Nirei was frantically scribbling notes into his notebook. He muttered to himself, cheeks pink from hyperventilating. "Wait, Suo-san! You... you do the what with your weight shift? That's so cool! How do you do that without losing your balance?"
Suo smiled, his single visible eye crinkling into a gentle crescent. He didn't answer right away. Instead, he leaned just a little closer over the laminated table, bridging the gap between them. His eyepatch shifted slightly.
"It's all in the hips, Nirei-kun," Suo murmured, his voice dropping an octave so it sounded like a secret. "If you're unsure, I can show you the exact posture later. In private."
Nirei let out a high-pitched squeak. His glasses fogged up instantly. He looked like a boiling tea kettle.
Sakura slammed his empty glass onto the wooden table. A very loud clack echoed through the shop, momentarily breaking the romance.
"HEY!" Sakura barked, his hair standing on end like a spooked cat. "We are here to patrol, not to do... whatever weird stretching thing you two are doing!”
"Relax, Sakura-kun," Suo said smoothly. He didn't even turn his head. He just reached out with one hand and gently patted Nirei’s shoulder. The boy practically melted into his chair. "Nirei-kun is taking very important notes. Isn't that right, Nirei-kun?"
"Y-Yes!" Nirei squeaked. "Suo-san is teaching me how to protect myself so I don't drag you down, Sakura-kun! He said my technique is really... elegant."
Sakura stared at them. A deep, beet-red blush crept all the way from his neck to his pointed ears. He was furious. He was confused. Most of all, he was incredibly annoyed that he was currently third-wheeling his two best friends at a stupid cafe.
"Elegant?!" Sakura yelled, drawing the eyes of the two elderly ladies at the next table. "It's a punch, idiot! You just hit the bad guy! There is nothing elegant about it!"
"Ah, but there is, Sakura-kun," Suo teased, resting his chin on his palm. His eye fixed on Sakura for a fleeting second, sparkling with mischief. "A properly executed blow is an art form. Wouldn't you agree that Nirei-kun's form is... magnificent?"
Nirei looked like he might faint from the praise.
"You guys are sick in the head!" Sakura grumbled. He aggressively bit into a strawberry shortcake, glaring daggers at his spoon.
"You're just mad because Nirei-kun stopped fawning over you for five minutes," Suo whispered, loud enough to be heard only by their trio.
Sakura choked on his cake. He coughed violently, his face turning an even darker shade of red. "I am NOT! I don't care! I don't care about anything! Do whatever you want! I'm going home!" Sakura jumped up from the booth. He stomped toward the door.
"Sakura-kun! Wait!" Nirei panicked, scrambling to pick up his scattered pens.
Suo chuckled softly. He grabbed his jacket, stood up, and placed a calm hand on Sakura's stiff back.
"Calm down, Grade Captain," Suo said, his voice dropping, once again, into that cool, unflappable tone that always made Sakura quiet down. "We still have the east street to check. Let's go."
Sakura huffed and crossed his arms, stubbornly refusing to look back at Suo. "Fine! But we're walking fast! And Nirei! You better keep up!"
"Coming!" Nirei chirped, jogging to catch up with his two friends.
As they stepped out into the evening breeze, Sakura found himself slightly slowing his pace. He made sure to stay exactly in the middle of the sidewalk, creating a barrier between Suo’s weird flirting and Nirei’s wide-eyed admiration.

"Everything looks so quiet today," Suo said, smiling as he tipped his chin up slightly. "It's nice to have a peaceful walk with you."
You hummed, looking at him out of the corner of your eye. Normally, Suo was the one giving out calm compliments, leaving you with a racing heart. But today, you felt brave. You wanted to see if you could make him lose his perfect, untouchable smile.
"Is it just a peaceful walk to you, Suo?" you asked, letting your voice drop to a low, playful tone. You slowed down your steps, forcing him to stop and look at you.
Suo paused, blinking once. He turned to face you fully, his smile turning into a look of light confusion. "What do you mean?"
You took a small step closer to him. The scent of fresh air and tea followed him. You looked up at him, a knowing smirk playing on your lips. "Well, usually you’re so busy looking at everyone else. I just thought you might be staring at me instead."
For a second, the world went very still.
Suo's eyes went wide. His posture broke as he took a quick, tiny step back. A sudden, bright flush started at his neck and quickly spread up to his cheeks, then to the tips of his ears.
"O-Oh," Suo stammered. His smooth voice cracked just a little bit as he quickly cleared his throat. "Well. That is... a very bold thing to say, isn't it?"
You let out a soft, pleased laugh. Seeing the cool, always-composed Suo turn into a stuttering, red-faced mess was better than you had imagined. "Maybe it is," you whispered, leaning in a little closer so you could watch his flushed face up close. "Does it bother you, Suo?"
Suo looked away quickly, pressing a hand to his lips as if wanted to hide how red he was. His heart was beating so fast inside his chest that it was almost loud enough to hear. He was usually really good at playing off any tricky situation with a funny joke, but your sudden teasing had completely caught him off guard.
"It does not bother me," Suo said quickly, though his voice was way too fast and high-pitched to be casual. He rubbed the back of his neck, still unable to look you in the eye. "I just... I did not expect you to say something like that while we are on patrolling.”
He glanced back at you through his good eye, his pupil blown wide. He looked at you like he was seeing you for the very first time. He gave a nervous, breathy chuckle and shook his head, trying to get his brain to work again.
"You are being very mean today," he murmured, his voice laced with a sweet shyness.
"Am I?" You tilted your head, crossing your arms over your chest. "I thought I was just being honest."
Suo let out a defeated sigh, his shoulders drooping just a little. The deep red color on his face finally started to fade into a soft pink, but the wide-eyed, flustered look in his eyes remained.
"You win, for now,” he whispered, holding his hands up in defeat. He gave you a small, genuine smile that wasn't for everyone else, but just for you.
He turned and started walking again, but he made sure to keep his hand very close to yours, his fingers brushing against your wrist as you walked through the town.
The afternoon sunlight quickly died down as you and Suo finish patrolling. You look at Suo while walking back to school, he was unusually smirking . It was like he was planning on doing something…
“Suo, wha-” before you could finish, Suo grabbed your wrist and shoved you into an empty classroom. The sudden contact made your head spin painfully.
The door slammed shut as his mouth crashed onto yours with force. His tongue forced its way past your lips, tangling with yours in a messy, desperate, kiss that left you breathless.
Teeth clashed and saliva mixed as he sucked on your lower lip hard enough to completely bruise, one hand grabbing your hair to tilt your head back while the other slowly takes off your shirt with skill.
“You’ve been teasing me all day,” he desperately said against your mouth before diving back in, his tongue exploring every. single. part. of your mouth.
The kiss turns filthy fast as wet sounds filled the air while he grinds his hardening cock against your thigh. You moan into the kiss, fingers gripping his jacket to pull him closer. He spun you around and pinned you face first against the wall, his lips never leaving yours as he reached to play with your breasts teasingly.
His tongue continues licking into your mouth while his free hand shoved your pants down to your knees. You felt the thick head of his cock press against your soaked entrance. You felt a shiver as he cooed into your ear.
He suddenly thrust inside you in one brutal motion, stretching your pussy side around his shaft. You cried out into his mouth, but he swallowed the sound, kissing you harder as he started pounding into you.
Each slam of his hips drove his cock deeper, the wet slap of skin echoing in the small space. His tongue fucked your mouth in rhythm as saliva drips down your cheek from overstimulation.
“Scream for me darling~” he ordered between kisses, biting your bottom lip before plunging his tongue back in. You wrapped your legs around his waist as best as you could, clinging to him while he fucked you mercilessly against the wall. His cock hit your deepest spots with every thrust, making your walls clench and flutter.
He pulled back just enough to smile elegantly at your flushed face before kissing you more intensely, heavy breathing mixing as he rutted into you faster. Sweat covered your bodies where they pressed together. “Take it sweetheart,” he whispered against your lips. “Take every inch of my cock until you can’t hold on.”
Your pussy squeezed him tighter as another wave of pleasure built. He kept kissing you through it all. The taste if him, the feel of his cock stretching you open, the way he refused to let the kiss break… it all pushed you closer to the edge.
He finally pulled out, only to change positions as he slammed back inside while pinning you against one of the desks. Suo stayed buried inside you, his breathing steady and even as he held you pinned against the desk. His voice came out low, almost gentle, each word laced with quiet amusement while his pace slows down.
"Look at you," he murmured, lips brushing your ear. "Still trembling around my cock like you can't get enough. Did you really believe you could tease me all day without any consequences?"
He gave a slow, roll of his hips, pushing another trickle of cum out to slide down your trembling thighs.
His fingers traced your jaw with surprising softness before he nipped at your earlobe. "Now your pretty cunt is stuffed and still fluttering. How greedy."
Suo eased his cock almost all the way out, then sank back in with force, the desk creaking beneath you.
"You came so hard you're still clenching," he observed calmly. "Want me to keep going until you forget how to speak? Go on. Ask nicely for another load while I push it deeper."
He leaned in for another slow kiss, tongue sliding against yours in a wet, unhurried rhythm as he resumed thrusting slow, deep strokes that hit the spot paired with soft, taunting whispers against your mouth.
"That's it... take every inch. You're not leaving until I've thoroughly ruined this pussy."
Even after he finished, he stayed inside you, while his cum leaked around his cock. Leaving you dizzy and overwhelmed.
“This is what happens when you tease me like that darling~” he cooed as you closed your eyes from being fucked by your friend.

omg this is my first time writing smut like this help 😭
I hope this was kinda accurate to suo’s character idrk lol
the comedy potential of red chanpuru being like hey, we just saw 30+ teenage boys in uniform entering the place, call our executives to check on this right now. and then suo is called over and he looks at the screen and sees his fuckass class strolling in and his eye genuinely starts twitching
the threads of their bodies intertwining together ?? and we know that the threads are like used for meaning feelings/emotions, with the text of connecting heart to heart too excuse me ??
some people will be like “I wonder why fanfic writers don’t share their works anymore😔” and then this is them when a writer is kind enough to share something they write — as a hobby, for their own enjoyment — with them for free.
some people really don’t realize how privileged they are that they get fanfics for free. imagine having access to something for free because someone is kind enough to share it with you… and then being rude, entitled and an ungrateful pos to that person who was kind enough to share their creation with you for free
“almost 1 year is a lil too much for me” fuck off. fanfic writers don’t owe you anything. one of my favorite fics was updated after 13 years, and what I did is that I thanked the author for choosing to continue the work, I didn’t act like a spoiled toddler by asking why they didn’t update sooner. and even if a writer chooses to abandon their fic permanently with no explanation, that is their choice, their hobby, their decision. they don’t owe your entitled ass anything.
you people let tiktok rot your brains to the point you see everything as content farm and engagement. not a piece of art created by the artist’s love and passion. it’s dystopian.
