learnt about the romulus and remus myth in ancient history today and i pogged tf out
I know there's a popular headcanon that Grace's crew died because of feeding tubes malfunction (based on the paperwork Grace was doing right before the explosion), but — in the book he specifically says that even after the accident he kept dealing with that same paperwork on minor Hail Mary issues, so I doubt that feeding tube problem was left unaddressed. May I offer instead:
Grace was put into coma by the people who cared about him. They (especially Yáo being Yáo) probably double-triple-quadruple checked everything. They watched him sleep for those first few days — I doubt they went into coma immediately after leaving Earth's orbit. They probably talked to him, assuring him that he'll be okay.
Ilyukhina's coma procedure was probably supervised by Yáo. He made sure that everything was in order, but — he is just one man and he is not a doctor. There was much more room for mistakes.
When Yáo went to sleep, he was alone. He had to rely on the technology completely.
We know that he died first.
I love rebloging. It’s the adult equivalent of showing everyone the cool rock I just found.

All of the Sides!! Remus was the first one, which I did in December!
My analysis in LNTAO episode but in Buddhism and Existence Philosophy
Definition: Asrava, asranava, The tragic Sense of Life
Sorry to bother you, but I have a friend who doesn't like Remus and they blocked the tag for him. But they confessed to me they feel really guilty about it because you and Thomas worked so hard on the character and they felt like they weren't appreciating your work enough and such, I just wanted to know what your thoughts are on people who don't like a character you created and try to avoid content that features them?
That's so okay. Nobody owes online creators, or creators in traditional media ANYTHING, even if our work has helped them in some way. If an artist shares their work for free, and then they make you feel like you owe them something, then they're tricking you, because they want to be able to survive as an artist under capitalism. Nobody should become a member because they feel like they owe it to us-- they should do it if they like what we're making, and they want to try to ensure that they can see more of it. Nobody should buy merch because they feel like they owe it to us-- they should do it because they like what we're selling, and they want to help fund the content that they enjoy. And nobody should feel like they have to watch or interact with any creative work that they don't like.
If you like Remus, then that's awesome! If you don't like Remus, then that's okay too. If Remus is harmful to your mental health, then please avoid him-- we're not trying to harm anyone over here. I'm not mad at you, Thomas isn't mad at you, and nobody else on the team is mad at you.

this remind me a moment in "my negative thought" ep, when virgil can prompt Logan with "FALSEHOOD". Does that mean every complex/more emotional sides can prompt/suggestion to "brain" sides? I mean look at DWIT ep, every single suggestion Patton-Virgil bring up can help Remus create anything in that suggestion, (ofc Logan can too but in his Logical way). Do you think this can relate to why Logan have been so sensibly and easily got prompt by Orange? I think the future Roman can be prompt too from his frustration from the SvsS.
You know smth really funny to me? The finale was probably supposed to happen like, right after wtit, or at least relatively soon after it. And that didnt happen ofc.
But the thing is, i imagine the original intention was probably to have everyone upset for just a little while, before the finale would've come out and the current drama would've been resolved.
But because of the hiatus. They've all just been stuck perpetually beefing with eachother for like five years straight. Like it's genuinely so fucking funny to me i swear. Five whole years to clear the air and no one's taken initiative. Worst communicators of all time fr 🫶🫶🫶

Both infinitely so funny and so sad how Logan’s “please talk to someone who isn’t us (yourself)” advice to Thomas in WIDS is groundbreaking because they’re all stuck in Talk To Yourself the Show
