I have lived in New Home for the past few years due to proximity to the CORE, which I am presently studying. I used to work in the Steamworks, when they were still active. Hated that damn place. I formerly resided in the Dunes, obviously. I have not been in some time... I'm not a good fighter, despite what some would think. Make it a point to not waste an old mans time. Not that I'm busy much nowadays anyway. [* ... He's only about 30 (in equivalent human years).]

"... Callas Charleston. He- He's someone very special to me. If you can think of, anything. Tell me."

[* He'd start slowly proceeding forward, guiding Axis along most likely.]

"Hope you, don't mind accompanying me. I... don't trust going deeper into the Steamworks alone."

"... That should work out fine." [* He pocketed the photo, looking ahead, and setting off...] [* A few hours of the two searching around lead to them splitting up eventually - and at some point, Inno found his way back to Axis, looking ... well, just a bit emotionally repressed.]

Inno stood in the dark, quiet hallways of the Steamworks, the only sound accompanying him being the faint hum of machinery, and music playing from an old human tape player that he used to just barely stave off the madness of these trips. He was making his way around, trying to find Axis, when he stumbled upon a few tables, lying ontop being... ... Old prototypes of the very prosthesis he had on now. He can tell because it IS his handiwork - one of the few things he didn't lose, after all - in... fairly good condition ... Callas had been so supportive of his efforts, even if it was just a thing on the side. If he recalled, Callas even contributed to a few of these. He's going to be sick. He pockets them in his satchel, before continuing on, fighting back the rising feeling in his chest. Not now. He has to be strong, and just... get home. He'll make it deeper into the facility eventually. Eventually.

The Steamworks mostly focuses on keeping the Underground powered, though we also dabble in things to benefit monsterkind." [* He sifts through the bag at his side, removing a rather advanced looking prosthetic arm.] "While rare, some monsters survive injuries, but lose a limb in the process. I've been working on prosthetics, and aids for them." "Though, I have a few other smaller things." [* He'd exchange the object for another, being a modified pair of ... rollerskates. They seemed to have small thrusters on the back, paired with decently sized battery packs attached on them.] "These are a pet project for a real good friend of mine. The battery is self-sustaining, but still a REALLY early prototype."
