I finally got God of War Ragnarok because the blatant misogyny surrounding the Laufey announcement reminded me that I needed to, and I finally finished it yesterday.

I’m not super big on numbered ratings, but if you twisted my arm I’d give the game like an 8.5/10. The gameplay is really fun and the narrative is engaging, but it’s a tad bit bloated and the last quarter is somewhat anticlimactic and underwhelming.

This one’s an absolute must play if you’re a fan of meaty combat and good stories, and I can’t wait to see what’s next for the franchise.
