“ You’ve got me a little stumped. Wait--- wait!

 Maybe....ah when I was a little younger I used to experiment with broken down droids. In a good way of course.

  To help them. I did repair one.

   A wonderful droid and they was my companion for sometime. 

       I was amazed I was able to do it. ”

   How is your training going?” 

  The youth heard of her, but he never had the chance to meet her especially with all the commotion. Honestly he was shoved left and right, doing other things. Getting lost in the mixture. It was hard to keep up at times.

   In her presence he found himself losing his words. Usually he was quirky- obnoxious maybe, with his words, but his mind blanked.  It was strange, yes,but he was cautious. Not that he was afraid of her, more or so, he felt he was possibly force sensitive to ....or possibly just confused. Yet he had no one to talk to about it. Due to being so sheltered. 

“ I uh...I hope I am not interrupting anything. 

   My name is Bannan.”

If there was one thing Breha would never fault him for (not that she faulted for much), it was being clingy. She knew the time would come when he no longer wanted to spend all his time with her – just look at her and her own parents (though, admittedly, that was an extreme case) – and so she was going to take everything she could now. 

Scooping the young boy up, she moved him to her hip as she continued down the hall to her quarters. She knew some saw her son as a weakness. But she disagreed. He fueled her mission. Drove her forward. “Of course, my little prince. You can sleep wherever you want. And yes, absolutely, you can stay with me. Though I warn you. There are going to be many many boring people in my meetings.” Including his father.

 He was happy to be held, if left standing on the floor he’d continue to hop up until she picked him up. Eyes were glued on his mama, especially when she spoke to him. A smile crept across his chubby face. Happy to hear she agreed with the arrangements. Soon he leaned in to peck her on the cheek. Before excitedly replying to her. 

“ That’s ok, I don’t care if they are boring. 

          I just wanna be with you, ok.”

  He knew many of those who worked with his mother were boring, but sometimes he was just a little curious. Just to watch them all. They were always so old, the ones that were higher in power. Except for the general. 

“ Will that general be there?”
