When I was a teenager I had a phase where I called soccer football because the rest of the world called it that but eventually my dad told me “You know, there’s a point where acting smart doesn’t make you smart and just makes you annoying. So anyways I call it soccer now.

I do have concerns about the scientology office speedruns pushing current members further in by perpetuating the "everyone else is out to get us" narrative that cults use to isolate their members. Having to bar the doors does make it harder to get into but it also makes it harder to leave.

actually fucking disgusting that glasses cost any money like if you actually think about it for more than a few seconds it is so unconscionably inhumane. this goes for things like insulin and mobility aids and hearing aids too ofc but fuck man, fucking glasses? the thing you need to fucking see? its genuinely sickening and inhumanly evil that those cost ANYTHING.
