Bruises. Closed starter for resistyrocks.
Tak had rather fast reflexes and as soon as she saw the man tip forward, both of her hands shot out towards him. He stumbled forward and grasped onto her, which didn’t really bother her until she felt a rather odd sensation. He was touching her. Like actually touching her skin. Irkens spent most of their time quite covered so any touch to bare skin seemed so taboo. “Uh…” She stammered out awkwardly with his grasp still on her. She couldn’t push it away, he needed the assistance and honestly, she wasn’t entirely sure she minded. “Right, no, you’re… It’s alright.” Tak shifted her weight slightly to make assisting him easier before leading the way towards the door carefully. “Once you’re in bed, no one had to know about… all this.”
“Fink they’re not gonna question the wounds?”
While they walk his grip on her tightens again, he does his best to not grip tightly though. It was unsettling to walk around the Resisty ship with limited vision, no matter how drugged up he was. Holding onto Tak helped him feel safer.
Thankfully, the lab he worked in was close to his room. When they come to the door, Lard Nar presses for it to open. If Tak was anyone else, someone who’s been on the ship longer, they might have found this odd. Having people in his room always felt a little too personal for the Vortian. It made him a nervous wreck, for whatever reason. It wasn’t like it was a mess in there. In fact, it was probably too clean. Nor did he have anything to hide. It just felt.. wrong.
Later, he would probably regret it, but for now, he waits for Tak to guide him into the room.
“Hope you don’t fink of me as too much of a nerd, love.” He laughs, referencing the walls crammed full of books and binders or notes.
