It should be. I have a taste for it now.
Do mornings get any better than this?
Nope, never better.
I hate waking up and not being able to go back to bed.
You okay, John?
I think so?
I hate waking up and not being able to go back to bed.
I need to sleep more but it’s hard.
Drink hot tea.
This is why I don’t date.
Sorry.
In case you missed it, @briemodexactivated and I argued about one night stands on the Bellas Podcast
Are you having once night stands?
How did I even miss that show being posted. I’m following the blog. Damn. Sorry.Â
Tour Fort Jackson
John loved history and if he had to go alone on a tour this was one that he could get interested in. He loved the historical background  for the old fort itself, and it's place in Savannah history. But most of all, he loved the cannon blasts as the Savannah Riverboat goes by. He was pleasantly surprised as people all dressed in uniforms from both sides.Â
They were doing reenactments and that was fun to watch and he took a lot of pictures to show Nikki and the kids. Â They had actors that walk you through the history of the fort and battles from the Civil War, even including you in the reenactment of the of one of the battles. It was a lot of fun and he walked away learning more about the Civil War than he had learned through school.
He was excited that he got  to experience the firing of one of their cannons, which they do everyday at 11 and 2. All of the actors stayed completely in character and were highly knowledgeable about the history. They shot muskets and  when firing the cannon they described the process of loading... and what the jobs and life of the soldiers were like.
The tour includes seeing the rooms there. There are rooms with historical memorabilia including a room with medical instruments used at the time, a blacksmith, kitchen, office and a workshop.. He left thinking tinat he would highly recommend visiting Old Fort Jackson!
Why are you staring at me like that?
Making homemade breakfast burritos.
That sounds so good.
He sleeps like his daddy.
