this is just a heads up that while, not yet, i will be putting jeremy back over on my multi @otherwoofs sometime next month. around the time uni starts up. i love having single muse blogs but when it comes to doing uni, it’s simpler for me to have less blogs!

there’s a lot of things in jeremy’s life he regretted, things he’d go back and change if he could; and one of those things is how he was FORCED to be distant from hana. ( the details around her conception is also something he wishes he could go back and change; but never her, never her. she is perfect. ) pack law stated that a werewolf must abandon their daughter, and god, how jeremy had pleaded and pleaded with dominic; to no avail. LAW IS LAW; JEREMY.

but still, he found ways. he sent money, only tiny bits that he could spare - until he sold his first painting, and sent more - but it still left a bitter feeling in his stomach. ( she deserved a father, not just a distant figure who could only send money ) so he sent cards, and letters, sometimes photos. the return address a P.O Box in New York City, in an attempt to make sure no one would find the letters ( which meant he’d be unable to check it for months at times. )

until dominic died. until jeremy became alpha. until he realised, while the bodies of malcolm’s supporters still laying warm on his floor, blood trickling down his lip, that he could see his daughter.

he didn’t go straight away. there was too much mess to sort out here first, and he was terrified that malcolm would follow him, would remember that his granddaughter existed, would take revenge on jeremy in the only way possible. but then, eventually ( with antonio by his side as a bodyguard, the trip too dangerous for the newly minted alpha to take alone ) he made the journey to where she lived - or at least to where he was sending the letters to.

he took a deep breath, and then with a quick glance back to the car where antonio was waiting ( close enough to be able to get to him if there was an attack, far enough away that they’d have the illusion of privacy ) who gave him a reassuring nod, jeremy knocked on the door.

when it opened, and the girl ( young woman, she must be close to 20 years old now ) opened it, Jeremy felt like all the wind was pulled out of his lungs. Hana. Hana. “Hello.” he said, his voice somehow managing to sound normal despite the tsunami of emotions inside of him. “Hana. I’m - Jeremy. Danvers.” Okay, maybe he wasn’t sounding completely normal. “I’m sorry - I would have called first but - I didn’t have your number.” he probably could have found it, but he was terrified she’d tell him not to bother.

I just remembered it and felt the need to share but - when Jeremy became Alpha and beat his father for the role and his father left and never came back, Jeremy shut the door to his fathers bedroom.

The next time he opened it was when they had to clear the room out to make room for a nursery.

Nearly 30 years later.
