OOC: Dropping
Yeah... I don't think I can get back into the groove of TMN and I feel like I am character-hogging/sitting when I clearly have the time to not do that.
So I'm dropping Elec.
Apologies. Hopefully you guys get a better one that's active. I thought I wanted to RP him but I think my mind has been elsewhere lately.
Again, I'm so terribly sorry for being such a lazy quitter. If I can't bring myself to post, that's never a good sign. (On my behalf, of course.)

Apologies for my absolutely, ridiculously long span of inactivity.
1. My computer recently has been infested with virsuses, those are mostly gone now.
2. I... lost the e-mail to Elec's account, as embarrassing as that is. Finally, after a few many tries, my guessing actually worked and I got it saved on this browser again. (I lost all my data and stuff from the virus problems.)
3. I'm having a bit of a problem wedging into TMN, but I don't want to give up without trying. It's going to be hard, but I'll try to catch up.

I, uh, am more or less in mental shape to write again and have ended my little break. If you need me to reply to a log still, send me a fanmail linking to it. Iâve been a little distraught with this cold and the fact no one else around here seems to care our dog died. :C
OOC: Bad news
1. I've caught a cold and it's lowering my concentration. I do not want to post to things that require attention and quality. Even for silly logs, I still try so hard to make my posts the best I can. Which isn't saying much.
2. My dog, Max, hasn't been in the best of shape for years now. I mean, he's a year younger than our other dog but he's blind in both eyes and is covered in tags. Lately he's been sick and throwing up a lot but now he is vomiting blood and has been bare bones dehydrated and starving. I've been trying to help keep water in him but we'll need to take him to the vet. He said he won't take him until 5 PM.
To think I was going to get that last minute trip finished so I don't fail ceramics. What the hell am I going to do?
Needless to say uh... I won't be readily available. Sorry guys. I gotta get this stuff resolved.

[Cut Man crosses his arms and nods, beginning to feel a little irritated towards Elec Manâs disciplinary acting, although remains a calm mood] Here we go with the A.I. thing againâŠÂ ! Like if your âsuper high A.I. helped much, Elec Man. As far as I see, it only helps you to deserve this Sergeaht-sparks nickname! Tell me, what is wrong with my attitude? Am I supposed to have yours? [his voice pretends to imitate Elec Manâs, as he puts on a frowny face] Hi, I am Elec Man, and I donât know how to have fun because I am too busy being grumpy at my lineâs fun, sparky sparky!
[His eyes narrow.]
I do not sound like that. I do not sound like that in the least. Being responsible does not mean I'm ruining your fun.
-Jewel listened intently on what Elec said. He stared into space, thinking about his brotherâs words. He forgot that what happened to him and his line wasnât the first time that Light bots were manipulated by Wily. Jewel closed his eyes. It was hard to imagine that Elec and the other first generation would do such things. What was even harder to comprehend was the fact that they donât seem to be affected as much as he was. While they had their quirks, they seemed perfectly fine. Jewel would be lying if he said that he wasnât jealous of their strong spirit.-
Itâs hard⊠I know whatâs done is done but⊠I canât help but still want to reset things, you know? How you managed to forgive yourself is amazing⊠-Jewel shook his head.- Well⊠at least you found a purpose for yourself. It might be boring but at least itâs something you know only you can do, right? Plus you can always be around family and friends to cheer you up. -He smiled weakly.-
[It wasn't so much that Elec wanted to forgive himself that he had to forgive himself. There was nothing more to be done, and surely it was Dr. Wily's fault in the end. Letting such weakness bog him down would have meant failing his whole line. He didn't always see them, but he had to support them.]
Actually, I don't always get to see the others as often as I'd like. While my job might be demanding, I still have to support them. That's why I moved on from then.
If I wasn't strong for them, how could I expect them to pull through?

Ice cream 'ere! Come get yer ice cream! [OPEN]
Only a few days were left until the festival came to an end and Iceman had only just heard of it! This of course was not going to get in the little robots way. He was determined to reap whatever benefits he could conjure these next few days.
After a nights rest he awoke and immediately got to work. In no time he was packed and ready to go. He waltzed his way to his teleporter, input his destination and was soon zoomed across the globe. But he didnât stop there, oh no, he tugged his luggage all the way down into the city through the empty early morning streets. He didnât stop for a break or to say meaningless hellos, he was determined to beat the crowd this morning.
So it seems spring had rolled its ugly head around these parts. Ice groaned at the warming weather but it wasnât as if he couldnât deal, he at least dressed for the weather this time.
After quite some time and effort he managed to set up shop, right in time for the mid-morning crowd. Now he could marvel at his work and get down to business. Ice swiftly bunched up his long sleeves and tightened his headband before he turned to the crowd to shout out the following words:
âIce cream and frozen treats over here! Câmon! Thereâs tons of variety here, I range from both natural flavors like vanilla all the way to artificial flavors like my special homemade Energy custard! Mhmm!â
He confidently crossed his arms and looked on at the crowd. He was hoping spring would be kind to him this year and give him a little quick change. How ironic it was for him to sell ice cream only to use his earnings on⊠well, buying ice cream.
Iceman logic, it was simply the best.
"Finally, some time to myself..."
For all his hard work, Elec was given some time off after the big incident at the power plant. While seeming so no-nonsense even when given this rare moment of freedom, he could not have been anymore happy or excited deep down. He even had trouble sleeping the night before.
It just seemed inappropriate to act so giddy around his fellow peers, not after spending so long to build that mature and adult image of his.
For all they knew, he was above going to such silly and pointless festivals. He was much too mature.
Which was exactly why he sauntering through so early in the morning, right?
It was only until he caught his brother in the corner of his eye, standing eagerly by an ice cream stand. Elec jerked his head around and quickly wiped the relieved smile he had on his face earlier. He felt moment of panic trying to cover his tracks, but not for long.
"Oh Ice," he said while brushing non-existent dirt off his armor. Excuses were hard to pull from thin air, but he was known for having quick wits. "I was just looking for you. Normally I wouldn't even show up to one of these events. I didn't really want to come here."
That sounded believable.
I suppose that's another sibling accounted for. How have the labs been since my absence? There was an emergency at the power plant that required my presence. They had to shut down the reactors.
Oh.
At least thereâs someone here Iâm familiar with. Thatâs nice. You should probably get back to work though if youâre still on duty.
Aww, câmon Elec! We get to talk to each other after so long an you talk about work. âŠIâm actually on a popsicle break sooo *he unwraps said popsicle* And Iâm always on top of my work!

You're right though. With your post and mine so far apart, conversation has worn thin. It concerns me, it really does. I... really am glad to be back. There was a major accident at the power plant and they needed me as an emergency energy source.

Kalinka remembered now that he was a Light bot, she hadnât seen Elecman in a long time. âIâm Kalinka, daughter of Dr. Cossack.â She stated, fluffing her short, blonde hair.
"Ah, of course. You do resemble your father slightly." Elec wasn't sure if that could be taken as an insult. It didn't come across as one to him. He didn't think ill of Dr. Cossack, especially for all the good he's done for the world. "Dr. Light hasn't brought up your father's name in a while, so it's nice to see you're okay. I take it Dr. Cossack is well?"
[Elec kept his distance, but he did offer Jewel a concerned expression and a hand on his shoulder.]
Dr. Light has already forgiven you, and so has Rock. Whatâs holding you back, brother? Youâre not the first line of robots to have rebelled nor are you the last .I would get nothing done if I kept thinking of the few big mistakes Iâve made.
Youâre actually quite lucky to have a new job. Mine has gotten very boring.
-Jewel sighed.- It just feels like I can never repay the robots and people I hurt. The familyâs forgiven me but⊠It just feels like thereâs going to be people and robots alike that still think Iâm going to hurt them. I just hope I could wipe that image clean off soon.
-Jewel shook his head.- But enough of that. The point is to move on right? You just need to keep on living. And thatâs what Iâm doing with my new job! -He gave a smile.- Maybe you can get a new job too if you want. Iâm sure Dad will find you a good one.
That might never happen, but you're going to have accept that and move on.
Sometimes I feel as though humans inside the power plant stare at me with some sort of hesitation or contempt. It's rarely said these days, but I know they fear the thought of me leaving my post again.
The time we were reprogrammed was long ago, but I still remember it perfectly well. I know, I led the rebellion with my brothers.
[And the worst part was he loved that taste for combat and freedom, even if he would never do something like that again. At least not on Wily's side. Definitely not on Wily's side. Not that Elec liked taking old skeletons out of his closet.]
To keep on living is your only option, and I hope you eventually come to terms with your past.Â
[Elec's eyes widened a tad. A new job? Sadly, doing new remedial work wasn't exactly what he had in mind.]
I don't think I should ask him for such a big favor. Besides, it's more complicated than that. Who would manage all the electricity generated by our power plants? I'd rather not be replaced by someone who may fail his job.
It's a dangerous job that I take full responsibility for.
We could just build another robot to replace you if you short out. No biggie. Â What you canât replace is a public icon, an idol, someone whose face dazzles hundreds of thousands of human kids and adults alike. You know, someone like me. Once the humans quit being lazy about our energy âcrisisâ and resorting to chumps like you for their needs, weâll be better off and youâll be out of a job, so donât act so high-and-mighty. We might already be on our way there what with solar energy getting so developed.
And itâs not that I couldnât figure it out, Champ, itâs that I wanted to see you say it for yourself. To hear that youâre practically babysitting is pathetic. If the others in your family canât watch over themselves I really have to wonder how well-off you guys all are. Light Labs must not be doing so hot if thatâs the case.
Well, you sure showed me. That's clearly why Dr. Wily is wanted by practically every country in the world, because you Wilybots are surely the master of wits and skill. [Elec said that all completely deadpan.]

Elec looks down towards her, trying to remember where he had seen her face. "I'm one of Dr. Light's robots, Elecman," he stated.
[He nods approvingly.] I believe you. Itâs just a relief to hear Light found a way to rescue all eight of you. [Still, he canât help but notice Jewel looked a little disheartened by the reminder.]
Itâs in the past now. We all have our regrets, but you canât let them weigh you down. Seems like youâre already on the right track. Good work, Jewel.Â

[Elec sighs and shakes his head, leaning down a bit to get closer to Cut's height.]

Besides, there's far more to keeping tabs on you guys than just work. You have a boss that can do that.
[He continues to just kind of stare Cutman, his judgement on the scissorbot not much different than usual.]
