Thinking again about how the Trojan War ate the slightly younger generation at Troy alive, and the whole thing was bookmarked by the sacrifice of two virginal girls. The older generation has its hard time too, but many of them at least make it home eventually, however happy or unhappy that homecoming was.

eventually i’ll draw the ‘evolution’ of how her design goes in the iliad for me.

compared to when she’s in sparta, she becomes heavily decorated and shrouded with lots of fabric and jewellery when she’s in troy. sort of like she’s being de-humanised into a beautiful mass of expenses and gold that’s pleasing to the eye.
