can we bring back the term "fair-weather friend" bc I feel like if fair-weather friends got called that more this whole argument about whether or not you should be there for your friends when it's inconvenient/at what point of personal inconvenience it's ok to bail on your friends would kinda fall apart bc like. we literally have a word for "friend who's only there when you don't need something from them" because the baseline expectation is that a friend should be there even when it sucks. like we used to make fun of people for bailing on their friends.

Sorry if this is unwelcomed, feel free to just delete this if you don't want more TADC bullshit in your blog (Understandable), but, uhm... I'm afraid to say that it gets worse.

It is not just that they used "Isn't She Lovely" for their Big Finale™. It's that they had a man who happens to have strong "anti-woke" ties (JobbytheHong) cover it. So... Yeah. That was certainly a choice that they made.

I'm going to be honest, I don't know who that is and at this point, it won't matter because that fandom has proven that it doesn't think a pattern of unacknowledged racist behavior matters 😅 so it's not even like receipt keeping will do anything.

All I know is, these people slobbed on the knob of overt antiblackness for the sake of a weird cartoon movie. I sincerely hope that it was worth it, and if it wasn't, that they hold that L in silence because it's gonna be embarrassing as fuck for them otherwise and I will not be letting it go.
