like im honestly still taken aback at how little like - shame? apology? there ever was for that whole “john green is a creep” thing

and i KNOW it was months ago but like. you have a teenage girl, talking about how she, as a teenage girl feels creeped out by the way this adult man interacts with / talks about / conceives of / obsesses over teenage girls, 

and you, as an adult freaking man, feel like it’s totally acceptable to (1) accuse her of slander (2) allow a bunch of famous adults to jump on this thing to defend ur poor self and (3) paint yourself as this poor victim of online bullying? and then NEVER apologize or reevaluate yourself
