navi paintings heal something in me.
NGL Entu kind of looks a little like Tonowari. I can't be the only one who thinks this.
Portrait of my dearest (I have never BS'd a background harder in my life)
I drew what I think the Inquisitors would have looked like back when they were Jedi!
-Crow feels like a Kaleesh, given his body type, claws, and face shape + mask (high-set eyes means he likely isn't humanoid and this is a distinctive feature of the Kaleesh, and the mask leaves perfect space for his tusks). The mask is definitely reminiscent of traditional Kaleeshi ones, though it's more Imperial/mechanical in vibes rather than tribal/boney. I initially drew him with a similar cloak to his imperial one, but removed it because I wanted to show the robes underneath better.
-I imagine Marrok as a Kage, given his unusual propensity for unarmed combat and attacks; their species is famous for their hand-to-hand skills. I picture him as also having been 100% locked in as a Jedi, though perhaps with some kindness beneath the irritable surface that's since been extinguished by Imperial torture. Their species canonically maintains their memories their entire lives rather than forgetting anything unimportant like humans, which could also have helped him rise to the level of prowess we see him at.
-The Seventh Sister (awooga) seems like she would have been a sweetheart before the Empire tortured her and turned that compassion into sadism. I have a headcanon that her padawan was a Quarren given her helmet shape; she seems to have always wanted to be a mother and I imagine she was very attached to her padawan, given that's the closest thing to a child a Jedi is allowed to have. The Empire would never do anything to said padawan! Never!
Anyway, let me know what you think!
Marrok and Crow during the Clone Wars! (concept)
I am so unbelievably chuffed that so many people liked my Kage/Kaleesh theory, so I present: them as Jedi during the Clone Wars.
I kind of regretted making Marrok look older since a lot of people have pointed out that he has the demeanor of a younger person, despite seeming to be very experienced. I also loved the theory that he hides his face because he's scarred from Vader and ashamed, so making him look younger as a Jedi seems fitting. We don't know how the Kage age, but we know they canonically remember everything in their lives since birth (hyperthymesia), which goes perfectly hand-in-hand with psychometry, adding to his overarching bloodhound/detective theme.
Marrok's lightsaber is blue since he's more of a fighter, and it's designed off a traditional Kage sword hilt. He seems to prefer using only one blade until the second is needed, so I imagine he had one regular, single-bladed lightsaber as a Jedi. Crow feels more like a guard/sentinel (just his vibes ig) so I gave him a yellow one, with a hilt sort of based off Kaleeshi weapons. He seems to prefer using both blades regardless of circumstances, meaning he might have had a double blade as a Jedi as well.
I noticed Crow tends to take a hunched stance, despite being very tall, very similar to Grievous' fighting style. He makes this crepitus sound effect when he moves that I love, and I theorize it may be due to Imperial torture. He has what look like mechanical parts on his arms, and while they could be cybernetics, those wouldn't create a cracking sound, and I think the idea that he wears stabilizing armor or braces of some kind is very cool. He also wears a double cloak, and since Kaleesh are cold-blooded, it could be to help him regulate his body temperature/keep warm (weird buttons on his belt for adjusting the settings perhaps?).
TLDR: Crow has big scratchable ears and wears a heated blanket. No, I will not be taking questions on that.

I just learned that a lot of vintage perfumes and fragrances were intentionally created to blend well with the ever-present smell of cigarettes, and in specific a lot of iconic ones that are super musky and floral and civet-heavy were intended to compliment the smell of fur coats or even "refresh" that new fur coat smell, which is one of the reasons (besides just shifting preferences and trends) that a lot of them smell really, really bad to modern noses.
