I picked up a NEW sealed ATI Radeon 7000 on eBay. It was almost a shame to unbox it!

Love a good bargain shop. I picked these retro PC games from CEX. £3 for all 5 - happy days.
Earlier in the week I spent the evening wrestling a CF to IDE adapter. I’m pleased to announce that my P90 retro PC machine now has a 512mb CF card for it’s boot drive.
I have just installed Winamp on my retroPC. I’ve missed arranging music into folders.
I missed out on playing Black & White when it came out. I’m playing it tonight for the first time on my Windows 98 machine. #retroPC #goodandevil
Another bargain, this time from a charity shop. Star Trek Armada II. This is an amazing game and runs really well on my new-old retro PC.
Graphics card upgrade. The machine came with a 8MB ATI Rage card. I have upgraded to the 16MB ATI Rage 128 Ultra. Long term would be to have a Voodoo card.
5 minute upgrade. I’ve added a case fan to my beige-beast today to help keep everything cool.
The keyboard on my new-old computer was filthy. You can pick up a new PS2 keyboard on eBay for a few pound, but I hate through things away so I rolled up my sleeves and gave it a quick clean. I can’t do much about the yellowing - but at least the grime is no more.
Another amazing FREE find thanks to the Facebook Marketplace. A 17″ CRT monitor. This will make for a great upgrade.
Connected my new-old PC to the internet. After installing Netscape Navigator 9 I took her for a spin around the internet. To be honest it was painful. Most pages don’t display correctly and everything loads really slowly. I did mange to tweet.
It begins. After searching online marketplaces for a starting PC I found this beast on Facebook. It was FREE! I registered my interest immediately and collected it the following day. On returning home plugged it all in and amazingly it all works. My first step was to format the hard-drive and install a fresh copy of Windows 98.
