Loverboy - Get Lucky (Columbia Canada, 1981) - Design by John Berg, photograph by David Kennedy
For years nobody could guess who the person wearing the pants was. Turns out, after some scouting, that the model was David's daughter Tymara, who was chosen because she was the only person who could fit in those pants.

In the US, Cadet commissioned John Griffith to design an alternate cover for that market, using an outtake from Leale's photo sessions. The title was also shortened to simply Messages from the Status Quo.

Eagles - Eagles Live (Asylum, 1980) - Art direction and design by John Kosh, photography by Aaron Rapoport
By this point the Eagles were as good as done as a group as The Long Run tour reached its end, but they were contractually required to release one more record. This was the result.
