Skylar Fitzgerald is just another normal girl- surrounded by a decent amount of friends, a stable family, and is easily liked by most. Skylar is almost an exact copy of her mother Aria- Artistic, headstrong, and faithful. She is extremely loyal to her loved ones and would do anything for them. No one even tries to make fun of her because she’s so sweet and friendly to everyone, but those that do she has a sharp tongue for and will not tolerate. Skylar sails her own ship- she likes having her own opinions, doesn’t like when people tell her what to do, and loves to prove them wrong when she has the chance. Skylar is always up for fun at all times and loves parties, but doesn't drink due to what had happened in the past.
She’s the type of girl no one would ever think of as to have a dark secret. Skylar is haunted by what had happened about a year ago- The death of her best friend Anna. She had seen it happen right before her eyes, and even worse, she was the cause of it. Having been invited to their first high school party, the girls went and had overboard on the fun. With alcohol down their systems for the first time, the two got in a fight and caused Skylar to push Anna down the stairs, thus resulting in her death. It still haunts Skylar to this day, and she is sure that no one knows about it besides her. She can’t bring herself to tell anyone about this because, well, she’s afraid.
But other than that, Skylar is a very strong girl despite her weak and innocent-looking exterior. She will always stand up for what she believes in, whether it’s right or wrong. Sketching and painting was only something that she used to express her pain of bottling up everything, until she found out that she was actually good at it. Skylar now has a devoted passion towards it and can be found sketching quietly alone during her free time about anything that is on her mind. For instance, a particular guy in her English class that she sits in front of. (Braeden King) She finds him interesting and would like to know more about him.. If he’s willing to give her the chance.
