Vocal Range: Eb2-F#4

Explanation: Vocal sound. Daichi has a lower voice (best guess somewhere around the baritone/bass range), and even though I, with a alto/mezzo voice can do Zeus’ notes, he is established to be a baritone, bass in the wiki and by fan analysis, so it works. 

Eurylochus…………………………………Kei Tsukishima

Vocal Range: A2-G4

Explanation: I think that Eurylochus arguing and challenging Ody’s decisions is very reminiscent of Kei and Tobio (calling them that like Ik them lol)

Polites…………………………………Yamaguchi Tadashi

Vocal Range: C3-D5

Explanation: POOR TADASHIIIIIII- I wanted Polites to be played by not only a fan favorite, but by a softer voice, hence Yamaguchi. I’m so sorry for how this will break hearts-

Vocal Range: E3-E5

Explanation: This actually has thought put into it. See, Odysseus looks up to Athena and Athena is a mentor for him. I almost put Suga in this, but I gave him Hera because daisuga (sadly, for the greek myth it goes with-). So, Akaashi, because Kageyama looks up to him.

Explanation: I love Yachi and I’ve yet to give her a role in anything :( so she gets to be Aeolus. The role isn’t much but she deserves it.

Explanation: Idk, I think he’d be cool as Kuroo.

Explanation: Kiyoko is Circe because she deserves it. I am SO. SICK of the show portraying her as ‘just the pretty girl’ so, yeah, she’s beautiful, but in my EPIC cast, she is also powerful, as she should be.

Explanation: Tendou literally DESERVES a fun character like Hermes. The two share many personality traits and characteristics and I think he’d do a good job.

Virgil liked every bit of Logan when they first met. Logan Valeria Barret. The front man, no nonsense, guy-who-still-thinks-it’s-cool-to-wear-ties law student captivated the nervous emo nightmare.

He was fascinated, and honestly couldn’t help but love him, and especially get worried when this sudden anger started to appear out of nowhere. He assumes it was from the lack of listening to Logan that tended to happen, which he thought was stupid. Logan passed every class, did everything just the right way…

Who wouldn’t want to listen?

~ ☆ ~ “Oh, Logan? He’s been staring at Virgil since he got here! He’s just trying to be friendly!” - Patton

Logan was fascinated with Virgil. He was so different from everyone else. Rational, staying relatively quiet unless he had to be loud. It was fair to say he also had a bit of an issue with staring. Watching. He knew it was rude, so it wasn't consistent, rather...occasional was the word.

It's unfortunate that Logan was never the greatest at expressing most of his emotions, so it was hard to tell how much he truly felt for the timid, yet cynical and sarcastic film major that shared his dorm.

He was just...assessing. Definitely not gazing.

As a couple, they definitely struggled to find their footing in the early days. Logan was, and still is, the densest man to ever grace this world with his presence, and Virgil was too anxious obviously to even flirt with Logan, much less imply how he felt.

The only way they got together was from LARGE pushes by Roman and Janus respectively. Roman got them together because of his love for the drama and the need for a happy ending, and Janus got them together because he was "sick of seeing Bridgerton live every day".

They do alright together, though! As a couple, they are very minimal on public affectionate displays, the most they'd do is a light kiss on the cheek, and that was pushing it.

They preferred more..subtle affections, like being attentive to each other and mainly, making sure the other is listened to. Pet names were huge though, although mostly in private, along with all other affections.

Virgil would be woken up by a gentle "Good morning, star..." from the dark-skinned man who shared his bed that night, notably missing his glasses that were just on the nightstand.

Logan would feel a head lean gently against his shoulder, mumbling something about homework or a film project followed by "I'm bored, L", leading to both of them sitting on the couch watching movies about space, until Virgil eventually falls asleep, followed closely by Logan. College is exhausting, after all.

Unfortunately, that can get the better of people. And quick.

Logan decided he should have one of the most ambitious paths he could muster: being a law student. He had to ace all his classes, and basically do college twice. He thought he was ready, and that it would be easy. After all, high school was easy.

He was wrong, very wrong.

Everything came rushing by him at once. Tests, quizzes, projects, presentations, it was all so much. Even a computer has a limit to how much information it can process.

This stress kept piling and piling, burying him in a prison of his own doing. He should have managed his time better, or been more ambitious, or even less ambitious. Maybe...

Maybe he wasn't as cut out for this as he thought he was.

His stress soon weighed him down, culminating in him frequently snapping. He was more easily frustrated, annoyed, overstimulated, everything he didn't want to be.

Why couldn't he just be the smart one everybody expected him to be? "The first Barret son to go to college", and what did he have to show for it? Grades slowly dropping, snappy attitude, and a boyfriend he loved with his everything, but was sure his family wouldn't be too happy with. It was almost like survivor's guilt.

He hated pushing Virgil away, but what else could he do? He needed to prove it was all worth it.

He needed to prove his family.

No...he needed to prove himself.

cant stop thinking about this video i saw on tiktok of someone saying that penelope asking odysseus to move their wedding bed in wyfilwma is bad writing bc she follows it up with “only my husband knew that so i guess that makes him you” and the question was never whether he was Physically the same person so its a stupid moment. like. how are u that wrong.. and so proud of it.. first of all a small part of it is her checking it’s literally him bc. he looks incredibly visibly different and she’s had god knows how many men vying for her hand with underhanded tricks for the past 20 years. but genuinely i do not understand how u can look at that interaction between odypen and take it at complete face value. as if her asking him to move the bed isn’t her hearing him say “i’m heartless now, i’m a monster, i’m cruelty incarnate” and throwing it back at him with “but here is something you love.” like how do you not see the point is that if odysseus truly was the monster he thinks of himself as, then he would have no trouble moving the bed. no trouble destroying it. but penelope shows it to him knowing damn well he’d never wish any harm on it. any harm on her. how do you not see that as penelope taking his hand and going i know you have done wrong. i know you are haunted. but you are not heartless, and you are not empty. a heartless man would not embrace his son, a heartless man not refuse to move our bed, a heartless man would not stand here asking for my love. a heartless man would simply destroy and mutilate and take. i just. is media literacy so fucking dead why are we taking things so literally why can we not see the importance and symbolism between two lovers and the object that represents their young love. how is this beyond people. stop taking everything at face value and start actually interacting with an analysing text beyond its literal basic words. things can mean other things. can you think. can you think. can you fucking play toys with me jesus christ im going to start eating drywall. i also just remembered they said that penelope accepting ody immediately makes her look spineless and that she should have had to take time to think about whether she still wanted to be with him. im going to drive into traffic i cant do this anymore.goodnight
