This is fucking ridiculous, so when tik tok starts forcing age verification. PLEASE do NOT give your id's to them. Especially for people in the u.s. as their u.s. version has been shown to be very much, if not more invasive than how byte dance has done it with the exact same categories of personal info. Because the u.s. government wanted to see how they can profit from the platform. Both byte dance and the u.s. tik tok branch are both scummy with data like all things online. Yet regardless. Do not forget this type of shit might be modified to fit the narrative to governments saying things like "this is why age verification is important". Any platform having privacy trouble, or is getting in any other trouble will be used to push the age verification propaganda. Now you didn't read it from me. Yet if we can get some professional programmers to help the government see that you can not censor the internet.
