Getting really sick of black goyim on my facebook feed posting shit like this:

I am a black Jew.

I have never in my life been told to get over slavery. 

I have, too many times to count, been told to “get over/stop talking about” the Holocaust. 

More often then not, apart from a few far right bigots, I have never felt threatened when talking about discrimination based on being black.

However, dare I speak up about (often violent) acts of antisemitism I see routinely ignored by media, the violence taking the lives of my people daily, I get push back from both the left and the right, from moderates and radicals. 

I feel far less safe talking about my experiences as a Jewish woman than I do as a black woman. 

Especially on a college campus.  If you talk about racism, hundreds of voices are going to be with you.  If you even mention antisemitism, however, there is a good chance those same voices will be against you.

People feel safe being antisemites.

It’s not “cool” to be pro-Jewish. And people who may be outspokenly against racism still feel perfectly comfortable and justified hating Jews either outright or more subtly.

Not to mention that posts like this imply that the Holocaust was a one off event.  It erases the thousands of years of antisemitism that lead up to the holocaust and ignores the antisemitism that continues to this day.

I might've fallen really hard and fast for him but it's critical to remember more than just the good times. There are so many red flags I noticed but never took seriously.. despite nearly all of them being deal breakers in the long-term. Like him settling for a job he doesn't exactly like/find satisfying, has held for the past 8 years, and has no plans to branch out. Or the fact that he's 28, has no credit, and his parents still do things for him. Or because he admits he hates talking and has shown he has trouble communicating clearly. I wouldn't be able to ignore those details forever.
