The reason why Peter didn’t think Erik was his dad in Days of Future Past is, that he thought Erik was totally gay after seeing him and Charles together. He considered it for a few seconds after saying “My mom once knew a guy, who could control metal…”, but the he saw Erik and Charles together and was like “Nope, this dude never loved someone other than the prof, especially not a woman.”
