jyn knew the signs of an anxiety attack when she saw one, and those signs were showing themselves in the kid standing in front of them. she paused, unsure what to do, worrying her lower lip between her teeth. cassian usually pulled her out of these kind of panics with gentle touches and calm words, but she didn’t know anything about the person standing in front of her. luckily for her, however, she wasn’t left floudering for long. “hey, kid,” jyn said, taking a couple steps forward until she was at his side. “you good?” kriff, she was so not good at this comforting thing.

Noah’s grin faltered a bit. Clearly they were not that convincing. Well, acting had never been their strong suit. Noah had always been one to wear their heart on their sleeve. They nodded, pushing their shaking hands in their pockets. “I’m okay,” they affirmed. “But... this is going to sound like a dumb question... what planet are we on? I don’t remember coming here.”

Noah was b u r n i n g. They felt hot and sweaty and dizzy. And yet, they shivered. They had been revived days before, but had kept to themself for the most part. Noah didn’t recognize much of anyone and they didn’t know what was going on. However, recollections of their death still flashed through Noah’s mind periodically, causing them to pause and space out. They scrunched their eyes shut tightly, whispering to themself to calm down. You’re alive. Hearing someone nearby, Noah’s eyes flew open in alarm to see the other. Noah gave a shaky grin, trying to wipe the anxiety off of their features and body language. “Um... hello?” Perhaps they would be able to explain what was going on.

MEET NOAH

Noah grew up on Corellia in a small family. They were an only child. However, they would not remain with their family for long-- Noah was discovered to be force sensitive. They were sent to train at Luke’s jedi temple. 

Noah ended up idolizing Luke. They were enraptured and found everything he did to be So Cool. Yall Noah is Luke’s number one Stan i’m not even plaYING. Also Noah was so nice they were such a good kid i’m just.........they were such a good friend.

Noah ended up growing up a lot as a person there. They discovered that they did not like being called by he/him pronouns and asked to be called by they/them pronouns instead. Soon after, they learned the term that fit them the most: agender. 

Noah was good at the Force. Not a master. Still very much learning. But they had the makings of a jedi. 

That potential would never be reached. 

One night when Noah went to bed, they woke feeling an overwhelming heat surround them. Their room was engulfed in flame. They woke up with a start, knowing immediately they would need to help his fellow students evacuate. 

Noah was able to help some get out, but they ended up getting trapped in a room-- the doorway caved in. In any other situation, Noah would’ve been able to force lift the rubble. However, they couldn’t breathe. Smoke was filling their lungs and they felt too dizzy from the heat. The panic also caused Noah’s mind to be unable to focus on the task at hand. 

They did not survive.

Now Noah is alive, some years later. They find that they are still the same age as they were before when they died. They woke up in a panic, remembering too clearly the fire that caused their demise. 

Noah doesn’t know what to do with their life now. They are skittish, anxious, and have a serious phobia of fire. They don’t know that the fire was not an accident. They don’t know that Ben became Kylo Ren and created the Knights of Ren. 

They just want their life to go back to normal.
