I figured what kind of a 15 year old would I be if I didn’t write about my immortal, unregretable (and non existent) love for the opposite sex. I’m just throwing up words, I know.
So, let’s talk about the peeps who my mum constantly asks me about. I mean the guys. The boys. The male gender. The one with a-body-part-that-I-shall-not-name-because-I’m-supposed-to-be-a-kid.
Let’s start with the basics, dear fellow people-who-have-nothing-else-to-do-than-read-a-pointless-blog-about-a-seemingly-horny-teenager,
Google defines a ‘male’ as ‘a male person, plant, or animal’.
Wow, and that’s the most helpful that anyone’s been to me in years.
Now, we’ll be going into the details. The male gender is just like the female gender. (Wow, I’m a genius). It has people who have the ability to laugh, cry, be sad, be happy, be beautiful, be smart, be dumb, be crazy and the list goes on and on and on.
‘Men are from mars, women are from Venus’ is a shitty remark by a shitty person who clearly doesn’t know men, women (or outer space).
Each individual has different characteristics which are not depended on his/her gender. Calling a guy ‘gay’ just because he doesn’t like the things that you feel a 'typical guy’ should like is completely unacceptable. While, also concluding that gay is simply not an insult, but a sexuality. A guy crying or showing emotions isn’t being sensitive, he’s just being human. Similarly, pinpointing a girl who doesn’t show aspects of the societal version of characteristics of a woman is also unacceptable.
This post took a turn, but it was better than me telling you about all the times I’ve been weird with guys. Trust me, you don’t want to hear that.
Also, parents please don’t put your kids in an all girls or an all boys schools unless you want them to become awkward turtles like me.
