Hello, everyone. It’s been some time since I’ve made any updates or asked for anything. Much has changed here with us, and some of it is for the good. 

My car is working better than it has in many months, possibly even since before we moved here. Only thing she needs is an oil change, but that’s cheap and we can cover it. What’s really important is that now I have a job! It’s right down the road and it’s a job I’ve worked before and remember more of than I thought (today was my first day and I did quite well). So now, all three of us have an income.

That being said, a situation has arisen that I don’t know if I have permission to go into detail about. What I know that I can say is we are trying to move out as soon as possible, as in immediately if we can. There is a house that we’re looking at whose rent is $1500/month, as is the deposit. We need as much help as we can as this is officially an emergency situation. We’re right now three people in a hotel room, but that’s soon about to be a higher number. 

Please share as you can, give as you can, whatever you can do to help. Even just $1 is helpful and will be appreciated. @shinigami-of-excellence has agreed to do his very popular headshots commissions, as well as limited standard commissions in return for the prices listed in the links. This is an extra bonus since it will give donors something to show for their time and money.

Sharing here. Until we have permission to share the full story, the summary is that a family emergency has come up with one of us. I want to emphasize that we are safe, but we need to move as soon as possible. 

I will be doing a commissions stream tomorrow to finish up the remaining headshots from the last round, and working on whatever other commissions I can after. I’m going to reblog this then with the link.

So, I wasn’t gonna open commissions again til I was done with the ones I have, but we’re in an emergency and donations are coming in slow. Our car in broken and we still need to pay the rest of our rent and storage, and I need a new ID by my birthday or I will no longer be able to cash my checks. I am offering headshots for as little as 10$ a piece. I would prefer being commissioned for headshots because I can do them between my larger comms and they will mostly be done withing a week or so. But if you’re willing to pay I will take larger commissions. Just understand it may take some time.

I appreciate everyone who has donated to us so far. Unfortunately, there’s been a significant lapse in donations, and combine that with Eliza getting hospitalized and now taking a week to go home to see her family, our income is dramatically short now. We still live in a hotel room that is much less than 700 square feet, Duo still can’t find work, and I’m starting to reach my own breaking point trying to pick up where the others are leaving off.

So unfortunately, Ren has lost her job. They were overworking her to the point where she slept slightly too late and over did her points. We need help and fast. We have food. But were only paid rent until Thursday. The cats need food and our car needs registration. I have no pride left to not ask anymore. Were looking at potentially being homeless over Christmas. She and I are looking at jobs. But no one wants to hire me. She-ll likely have an easier time but itll be hard to find something that pays as well. Please help us out until we can both get employed again.

Omg!!! This is just the sort of blog I was looking for!!! But first a question, do you accept therian asks for help? For instance, someone questioning if they're elfkin and inquiring of others what type they think they are? Don't want to waste people's time!

Hello there! Of course we accept therian submissions.Though, if you already have an idea what you are, it may be of more use to you to seek out other groups of people with similar therian or otherkin types to help you. Generally speaking, people come to us when they have kinfeels, but aren’t sure what they could be from. So, say, if someone knew they had elvin qualities, like pointy ears and a connection to nature and maybe a general connection to elvin culture, they could submit those traits, and people can suggest whatever comes to mind, be it a therotype, otherkintype, or fictotype. We’ve had such things as wendigos and non-canon characters find themselves here. So neither our submissions nor our suggestions are limited to any type of kin, so long as you ARE searching.I hope this is of help~ If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. — Mod Duo ~

Personally, I wouldn't find it confusing at all if you alternated your signatures! (Also, the absence is understandable - in my experience, health and real life should always come before tumblr)

Thank you kindly. We figured since this is a kin blog, most followers would likely understand. But we still wanted to check first. We’ll wait and see if anyone has any objections before readily doing this, but it’s nice to have the first reaction be a positive one.

And thank you for your understanding. Thankfully, I am doing much better now that I’ve moved. Still dealing with some things, but I’m on the path of improvement. I’m deeply grateful for my (now much closer) support system.

are you still accepting mod applications? if so,is there some kind of form to fill out?

I would prefer to consult Mod Gundam before taking on another mod, but it may be necessary at some point. There is a form, but it’s only in Mod Gundam’s possession at the moment. Depending on how long it takes us to get the inbox cleared, I may ask him about it.

Hey everyone~ It’s Mod Duo. I’m gonna be working on some submissions tonight. I’m so sorry this blog has been so inactive. We are still here. Just all of the mods have things going on in our lives. I myself, without going into too much detail, just moved out of a very bad living situation, and have been adjusting, along with dealing with health and family issues. However, I do recognize this is no excuse, and I do apologize. I and Mod Lian will be working on submissions soon.

Also, I have a passing question for you all: I’ve mentioned this briefly before, but mod Duo has two headmates, and Treize does like helping with the posts here. How would you all feel about us alternating our signatures depending on who’s fronting? Would that be confusing, would it be all right, does it matter at all? Let us know what you think.

This is an older completion and I realize now it may never get officially "completed", because both Mod Czeslaw and even Sirena Von Boo may no longer be here, this post would likely fall into the shadows here, and with the recent unconnected Lance as well, its best to just give it to you, victory, praise and all.
