I am part of a large reenactment and recreation game called the Empire of Medieval Pursuits or EMP. the group I am part of is called the Savagelands and we are based out of northern California and Southern Oregon. We oriented towards ore history and primitive life styles including Bushcraft skills. Some of the pictures from this year's Barbarian Bash at Gumboot lake outside of Mt. Shasta, California. This is the Savagelands home event. It is where we decide our champion, test those who want to be citizens, and teach the Savage Skills to those who wish to be tested.

You hear me yell Hold during the video which is our word to stop in place. Anyone who sees an unsafe situation may yell hold so they can keep others safe. A Hold is resumed with all fighters staying in place, the issue resolved or individual hurt removed from the field, and a three, two, one countdown finished with a Lay-on command to resume fighting.
