Piano for all boasts of their expertise to teach you and anyone else that might be interested in how to play the piano. Sitting down and looking through it, here are my thoughts.

-What is it? Having 9 interactive e-books, 200 (and counting) videos, and over 300,000 students the quantity is there. The claim of this company and its product is that it’ll teach you in months, not years, how to play the piano. Well, being ADHD and having a squirrel brain that’s easily distracted I do have to say it’s a tad more engaging than an old-woman yelling at you and smacking your hands for not hitting a key right.

-What can I use it on? Anything, really, that can read e-books and/or watch videos.

-Is it worth it? 39 dollars for the download or 49 for the download + physical media… yes, but only if you’re interested in learning the piano. Learning to play the piano, however, supposedly opens up the world for you when it comes to learning other instruments. So, hey, give it a whirl!

-Should I get it? Yes if you’re interested in the piano.

-What’s your rating? 10. I can play more than the chopsticks now.

A word on Referral Links

If a website or app or game isn’t in alpha or beta or some privatized low-volume opening than you don’t need referral links. They’re a pyramid scheme meant to encourage people to recruit other people. If you can register without one, do so. This is simply due to the fact that your time and money is being used to enrich someone else’s wallet or account and help lessen their waste of time, which means your resources are used to make it easier on someone else.

Don’t fall for the influencers on Tik Tok, Youtube, Instagram or anywhere else that shill you these things and try to get you to use their RLs. They’ll encourage you to join Acorn or Robinhood and make a profit off of you. This goes for those who force feed their following crypto suggestions for Coinbase and/or Binance and then encourage you to follow their own link that’ll only further discount their costs or enrich their portfolios.

With 16,000 plans that’ll help beginners to a master, Ted McGrath seems to have hit a few nails on the head with this product’s release however is it worth it? Let’s see…

-What is it? Wood working plans, guides and how-tos that are supposedly a must for you, if you work with wood or plan to do some projects. Having failed woodshop, digging into this was somewhat fun as it seems to be a bit more descriptive and helpful. Still made a post-modern nightmare of a birdhouse but it was somewhat fun to do.

-What can I use it on? Wood but you can commit some sins and use plastic, osb and similar products. I won’t tell if you won’t.

-Is it worth it? At 67 dollars it seems a bit daunting but if you click around their website you’ll get a 20 dollar voucher pop-up, and, well… at 47 dollars it isn’t that bad. I’d backup the plans if I were you (for offline access) and go hogwild at the lumber yard and start creating things. You can make tables, walls, doors… anything that’d seem impressive so you can flaunt it over your peers and prove to your family you aren’t a dunce or a burnout. So, yes, it’d be worth it if you’re into that sort of thing, or really like handling wood.

-Should I get it? Yes. Attract that trad-waifu with your masterful handling of wood, or if a SHTF scenario happens you can build a shelter and make yourself a valuable member of your survivor community, unlike Bill. Bill’s lazy and eats too much.

-What’s your rating? A 9 if you wanna get into woodworking.

Stop Falling for Scams by Influencers!

I’ll be honest here with you folks, hardwork pays off, as most videos and blogs you see on Youtube and the internet are people who’ve found a niche and are milking it for all its worth. Why? Because, ultimately, digital business is the business of influencers and they’ll never give away or do anything for free. They got their niche and following and they’ll use it to barter for money and free things while selling you a fantasy. You won’t be like Mr.Beast or any similar influencers. They sell you a line of bull for your money and time. This is a waste for you and many others.

Take a step back; reanalyze your time and money spent. Look at the resources you own (Cash and time) wasted on serotonin and dopamine traps setup by these people. They are literal drug dealers pushing a product meant to make you feel good. The product…? Well wishes and the promise of good karma and charity. It’s the chance of the draw, like the lottery, to be like them, which translate to: very bad odds for you.

Here’s some free advice: -Cancel subscriptions (no more Netflix and similar month-to-month subs) -Stop buying games (play what you have, clear the library’s backlog) -No more lottery (too much money for the luck-of-the-draw odds) -Teach yourself knowledge and skills (check Khan Academy for free) -Use the internet to your advantage (Learn skills, watch instructional videos) -Stop wasting your money on pallets and blind bags/grabs (They use influencers to boost their sells) -Don’t trust Tiktok (Their finance toks are nothing but influencers being given cash to push specific trends)

Now, how can you make money? Well, I’ll write up some how-to guides between reviews however I can tell you how to make money now and save up enough to help yourself forward: Deal with working the job you have. Spend less than you make. Bank it and start living frugally.

There is no get-rich-quick scheme and plan. People who push these are doing so to line their own pocket.

An example…? Reselling works if you can get stock however sites like wibargain.com and similar have influencer programs. Check their sites, you’ll find affiliate or influencer programs that will give partners fantastic packages and pallets, a script, and a few bucks to give them what they need to push out videos and tell you how fantastical it is to drop a few hundred and make a few thousand back. This is false. This is a lie. This is a money grab meant to trigger your brain into going “OH WOW, I CAN DO THAT TOO!” but you won’t. You’ll get broken or missing parts and 75% of your package or pallet will end up in the garbage. There are ways to resell and I’ll explain that in a later post.

Another example...? Affiliate Marketing takes time, research and a lot of luck. A lot of them end up selling false information VIA videos and how-to guides on tik-tok and Youtube because they want you to buy their services or "extended guides". That's their main money maker: Gullible people.

Mind you, not all affiliate marketers are liars, some do make money off it but it takes a lot of time and a niche to find.

One more example...? Stocks and crypto. So many videos and guides exist with speculation alone and people shilling their affiliate links with the promise of free crypto and stocks. There are ways to gain these however money is needed to be spent. This will be another guide, later on, explaining how to do some of this at a later date but as of now, I'm quite enjoying my rant.

So, since I have a job to get and I’m just rambling I’ll end this post here: Do your research. Improve your mind, and work hard. Patience, perseverance and practice does make perfect.

VidTOON

VidTOON is a drag-and-drop video animator that’s been around for awhile now. I got my hands on the product through a friend and decided to test it out for all of ya’ll today on a whim as I setup the blog.

-What is it? A drag-and-drop video animator with a built-in list of animations, characters and much more, and it has been around for quite some time as Vidtoon 1.0. Now with the release of 2.0, some of the buginess has been fixed and it seems much easier to use. It isn’t some great end-all-make-all tool but it is a good tool for instructional videos and some silly video or even a simple music video.

-what can I use it on? Any Desktop OS, however I’m unsure of Linux and other open source OS. Windows and Mac, for sure, can handle this program easy enough.

-Is it worth it? For a one time 49 dollar fee? Yes. I’d snap it up if you’re into informational videos and want to test the grounds before you get into something bigger. Backgrounds, characters, animations, transitions all easy-to-use in the program. It’s easy to customize, has a good set of fonts/typography, and an excellent voice-to-text setup.

-Should I get it? Depends on what you need to do, however it’s a yes if you want to do informational videos without gouging your wallet and bottom dollar. It even comes with a step-by-step guide.
