Ok not to be SO annoying about TADC but I ofc have funnybunny brain rot and I’ve been saying forever that I think it’s funny how the ep after Pomni flirts with gummigoo Jax all of a sudden wants to be an Australian safari explorer, and then after he says how cool evil pomni is, pomni wants to be evil in ep 6 ^_^

Well I’m rewatching ep 5 and I got a look at the stupid photos behind pomnis desk and this shit is frying me, remember Jax specifically requested this adventure AND this is the one where he says he wants to be Australian:

HE INCLUDED A PHOTO OF GUMMIGOO IN A FAIRY PRINCESS DRESS ?? AND A PHOTO OF HIMSELF IN HIS COOL SAFARI HAT IM GONE 😭😭 bro wanted to make that fruit snack look AS silly as possible and humiliate him in the best way he knows how to (Jax obviously thinks there’s nothing more embarrassing than wearing a dress) and he wanted to look handsome in comparison he’s so fucking lame I can’t stand it

my cross to bare is relating to a character so viscerally and getting so real life offended when people misunderstand them bc I am, by nature, perpetually misunderstood by everybody and I refuse to let my favorite character go through that (they are not real and im delusional) so i have to over explain every single little interaction they have bc baby if nobody else does, I UNDERSTAND and I'll help other people understand too

light TADC spoilers not really anything specific but talking about Jax's trauma and the opportunity for Kinger to help

thinking about how desperately Jax needed a father and we were so fucking robbed of his possible relationship with Kinger

Kinger could have helped him with so much, like genuinely if they had given them ANY relationship I'm not kidding when I say that might have saved Jax, Kinger could have literally helped him through the root of ALL his issues which was his dad leaving him and his mom being awful after + looking for her ex in Jax, and who better to help Jax through that trauma then a fucking fantastic father with a happy marriage ?? Someone to tell Jax it literally isnt his fault at all and just because he's a guy doesnt mean he HAD to step up and be the man for his mother when he was a literal child, that was HER issue and her responsibility, he was just a kid I can't get started on his trauma though bc it was WAY too close to my own and I'll yap forever

Not to mention Kinger could have helped with his internalized misogyny too, he could have helped him deconstruct his betrayal wounds from his mother and understand what it means to be a Good Man and how it has nothing to do with performing masculinity, and how it's actually a great thing to be in touch with your feminine side and it's nothing to be ashamed about

Kinger and Jax taking the girls out on "dates" and getting them flowers, complimenting them, being little gentlemen and taking them out for digital food, paying the fake bill, and then going back to the circus and letting the girls paint their nails or put bows on their head or do face masks or something, they're giggling bc they're having fun and Jax gets paranoid and looks at Kinger for reassurance, and he sees how happy and comfortable Kinger is ?? so he lets himself have fun and be kinda vulnerable and feminine bc he's learning that its ok ?? CMON

Plus Kinger never had a son !! He's a girl dad !! Jax would have been his only boy AND he's the baby in the circus too cmon Kinger would have LOVED that he was in need of a rowdy baby boy to get him into trouble it'll keep him sharp and on his toes LMAO

Jax having a tantrum and Kinger gentle parenting him until he calms down and apologizes and then he gets an ice cream and a hug

and bro is pissed about it, feeling a lot of shame for not being more regulated at his age, he's like "this is so dumb I'm a grow ass adult I don't need a parent I can handle myself just fine" but then the next time he starts to kick off he finds Kinger like "i'm upset and idk what to do what should I do ): " and Kinger helps him learn about emotional regulation

Like uhhh hELLO guy with deep childhood trauma and paternal wounds ??? Dad of the century is RIGHT there !! let him be his papa !!
