Unpopular Opinion

The way Ben Solo died was beautiful and necessary. He died saving someone he loved, what could be more redemptive than that? Just because it was the last Skywalker movie, it does not mean everything was going to be tied up perfectly in a way that would please every prediction or hope of how the ending would go. And let’s not forget, this is Star Wars...he is not really gone, just as all those who have gone before him are not. It may not be ending for Rey and Ben that is the sweetest and happiest but I truly believe that it is the most powerful for the movie and most importantly for their relationship as a whole.
