The University of Minnesota’s Minnesota Daily ran an article claiming that fanfiction has revolutionized literature. “Fan fiction is a perfectly competitive industry into which anyone, regardless of age, sex, or economic status, can enter and in which anyone can prosper…Ours, then, will be the first generation in history to have a durable literature written by the common individual. KatanaSkwad needs you! Long story short, I’m planning to meet Karen Fukuhara and give her a fan-made book (if everything goes well).

Now, I can’t really give her an empty book, can I? Therefore, I need all the help I can get. I need you and everyone else to reblog this/spread the word on any website. I’ll also need submissions related to Karen or Suicide Squad 2016′s Katana/Tatsu Yamashiro.

Deadline: August 28, 2016 (tentative)

Brief submission info: Any original edits/text/other forms of work will do (except gifs), as long as they’re focused on Karen/Katana and not sexually explicit. If the image quality is good, then it’ll look good on print. Anything you made before this post is totally fine, as long as you’re not claiming credit for someone else’s work. 

Disclaimer: I’m the one currently paying to print the book and such (I’m too busy to set up a donation button atm), so I have rights to decline a submission if it breaks the rules.

About the blog editor: I’m an Asian woman (not East Asian) studying in college/university/whatever you call it.
