To everybody who pressured Egon to go to bed last night, Iâd like to offer my genuine thanks.
He can be ridiculously stubborn, so Iâm really not sure how you managed to get him to sleep. But somehow you did and thatâs enough for me!
Hmm, that's funny. For our Egon it's not getting him to go to bed that's the tricky part - it's getting him to wake up!
Also, Hi Dr. Ray Stantz, I'm Dr. Ray Stantz.
Ours is both. Once you get him to bed, thereâs no getting him up until itâs his decision.
Hello! Nice to meet you!
Youâre the second Ray Stantz Iâve met so far, but youâre the first red-haired one. I always sorta wanted to be gingerâŚ
Has your Egon wanted to be a blonde? Good morning, Dr. Stantz. Iâm the Ginger Rayâs Egon. Pleasure to meet you, but I personally donât like to be called out about my own sleeping habits before Iâve met the person.
Also, I apologize on the intrusion of conversation.
Anâ Iâm Peter! But you can call me âDr. Venkmanâ. Everyone else does. Even Egon anâ Ray anâ Winston!
(Play along, guys, I wanna impress the clone guy)
Peter, he is not a clone of our Ray. I think that is rather obvious due to the fact this Ray is not a ginger. We here are experiencing a interdimensional rift that allows us to communicate with parallel versions of ourselves.
We are? Alright, what didja do this time to cause this, Egon? Also does the inter-whateveryousaid have a âmeâ in it? And is other-me just as cute as I am? Â
...heâs not cuter is he? I'm as cute as they get!
I could be wrong, but I donât think your Egon or any other one caused this. They all seem pretty puzzled by it, actually. Mineâs driving himself nuts over it and refuses to work on anything else.
We have a Venkman here, yes. I wouldnât describe Pete as âcuteâ although Iâm sure heâd describe himself that wayâŚ
Whew, thatâs a huge relief!
...about other-me not being as cute, that is. I was really worried I had competition an'...
*dodges withering looks from Egon and Ray; clears his throat and uses his deeper âadult voiceâ*Â
...that is, Iâm glad your Egon is working so diligently to fix this rift, an' Iâm sure weâll all breathe a lot easier once he has this issue fixed.
Part of me would say this rift is not an issue, Peter. It is something that may become an issue, which is something Iâm trying to plan for. However, this is an opportunity of a life time. No one has ever studied such an event, and it is a pleasure to be one of the first.
Yeahhh about that, PeterâŚ
Our Spengler isnât working to fix the rift. Heâs trying to widen it just enough to cross between dimensions. He hit a dead end last night, but I think heâs making progress againâŚ
Egon, are you doing the same, or just observing?
At the moment? Iâm observing. However, if I were to somehow establish a link to ours, it may progress your Spengler even further in his progress.
Why do you wanna widen it though? Janine says one of me is bad enough!
Well she isnât wrong, but as I said, it is a once in life time opportunity and I donât want to miss it.
Oh, well of course, if itâs a once in a life time exper---HEY!!!
