I do not write NSFW. My writing might get suggestive at times, but smut, blood and gore don't appeal to me as a writer. Suggestive posts will be tagged "tw suggestive".
I will try to keep swearing to a minimum, but please know that some of my characters are especially foul-mouthed. Posts with swearing will be tagged "tw swearing".

My OC list is pretty straightforward - these are characters I made, and each one is like a little part of me. The "Rent-Free" list is for characters who were not made by me and live rent-free in my brain at the time. Since my hyperfixations are bound to change, this list will change too. Any asks received before the Rent-Free list changes will still be honoured, but please check before asking.
Please note that in many cases, any rent-frees have the possibility of being fictives in our system, which means they are their own people and not simply characters. Any fictives are being written with their permission, so please don't hesitate to send asks! If they weren't okay with being on the list, they wouldn't be on the list.

Genuine question who in their right mind thinks that sending an ask that says "when are we gonna get more of [thing]" is in any way motivational to the creator of the said thing. Like are you asking for a ban or what is this behaviour
Comments like these create unwanted pressure that takes away any joy of creation. You ARE the reason your favourite creator stopped working on your favourite story if you send stuff like this. If you genuinely want to help motivating them, send asks talking about their work instead, what you love about it and how much joy it brings you. It will be productive on both sides and you might just get that update sooner

Hey, I plan to, someday. When? I cannot say. I am actively working on the next chapter. But I literally cannot force the creativity, and if I did, no one would like the result.
I like to give the benefit of the doubt, so even though this ask came across as super rude, I'm just going to assume you are genuinely curious about the next update. So that being said the nature of fanfiction is that it is free entertainment that people make out of love of the craft and the fandom with no form of reimbursement whatsoever for their time. Sometimes that means that irl or other things might take precedence, and a fic might go for long periods of time without an update.
That means you get what you get and you don't throw a fit. Be thankful for what is already out for you to enjoy, and be gracious when you get updates, and DO NOT demand that writers update for you.
As for you having to "check for updates", I publish on AO3: you can bookmark the fic and get an update in your bookmarks tab when I publish a new chapter, or subscribe to my account and get an email every time I publish.

Hi, thanks for asking! Life has been busy lately for both @lady-of-disdain and myself, on top of a really long dry spell for writing motivation, and some changing hyperfixations. But if all goes well, there should be an update soon!

None of yall are the fic police. I DESPISE genai. I think its an insult to art, humanity, and the planet itself. But aint not a single fucking person here qualified to pick apart a strangers fic looking for a gotcha moment to make yourselves feel superior. If you think something is ai you can ask the author (most are proud of the ai use and will just tell you straight up) if they say yes you have your answer and can warn people. If they say no and you dont believe them you block and quietly keep it between you and maybe a close group of friends. Spreading misinformation is DANGEROUS. And NONE of you doing this shit are anywhere near qualified to do it.

we're not "writing like AI" - AI is writing like us, because it fucking stole from us in the first fucking place.
I've never used AI in my work, not ever, but guess what, my fics are ALL written like that. long paragraphs, long sentences, em dashes and hyphens and other grammatical tools, because I fucking know HOW TO WRITE.
quite frankly, if you think these things are "genAI inventions" you're just telling the world that YOU DON'T READ ENOUGH.
someone on twitter is trying to claim that use of an em-dash is an indication of AI-generated writing because it’s “relatively rare” for actual humans to use it. skill issue
