californian winters are forgiving,
like the new neighbor who reminds you of the trash days,
or the child, who knows that time zones exist, but doesnāt hold it to your heart but your intracontinental time zone lag,
i wish for your trials are as forgiving as a californian winter
the lights are on,
i havenāt been home in a minute.
the decorum,
outdated with traumas and inconsistencies.
this house no longer holds my ambitions,
i must move into a new place,
upon an avenue,
that can house ambitions not yet conceived,
goals not yet achieved
they say,
heavy is the head that wears the crown,
and I may king,
but Iād rather god!

you ever wondered why most of us think of umbrellas when it rains?
or praise when the fate is in our favor?
itās simple really,
our gratitude is as seasonal as the impetus that causes it,
much like our grief.
most of us donāt experience emotions out of season.
itās hard to weather the storms of our lives when the sun shines or to see the bright side of a stormy night

i would say we will reinvent the wheel,
but space travel doesnāt require tires,
5/30: orbit
5,4,3,2.1...blast in,
reserve the exploration for self-determination,
self-magnification,
dissolving into myself I learn,
my deepest facts,
acts,
what whips the crack or crack the whip,
reason for lip,
elevated heart, descending thoughts,
you remind me of who I never meant to be,
orbit...
3/30: listen
the number one killer of understanding,
is judging what is or is not possible for someone else,
in the scope of your own experiences
2/30: self
i dated myself today,
took me to the movies and got to know me today,
i asked me questions,
got to know my personality.
i found out that iāve grown,
iām not the man i used to be,
I regarded myself today,
gave me the respect i deserve.
i relearn to love me today,
you should relearn to love you too
1/30: on nipsey...
iāve been told that itās a cold world,
thatās a little nippy.
lifting the weight of a generation,
thatās a little nipsey,
hussle, and hustle.
you donāt have to be a fan,
to recognize the cool,
you donāt have to know the music,
to have the blues,
whether you feel this one,
or you feel this one too...
what our generation was missing,
we found in you
vibrate...higher
i recently found,
that the resonate frequency that a female clitoris vibrates,
is 33Hz,
it was a pleasure talking to you.

i communicate the best when iām silent,
itās easier to speak into the fifth dimension that way...

I covet the chaos of my own construction,
because I seek control.
i fear foreign chaoses,
new unknowns,
so with one foot planted in order,
and the other firmly in my own chaos,
i seek new lines to straddle, new chaoses to explore
essence...the valley
there was a touch,
there was a feel,
now there is, just is.
we claw, scratch, dig, excavate,
explore, discover,
recover,
uncover.
all in the valley,
the...depression between two peaks,
whether downhill or uphill,
we upheave and labor,
in the valley.
famine
what happens when the chef starves?
what happens when the one you rely on for consumption becomes malnutrition to his own art?
i was always taught to never cook while youāre hungry, but anticipate the appetite,
feed yourself so you have the energy to feed others,
but this is counterintuitive to the things iāve seen.
iāve seen a societal famines,
we all crave to be fed and to feed,
we all consume things that donāt contribute to our health,
supplementing our appetites with the food of fast media,
forgetting the sustenance of tradition,
community service, in person conversations and the like,
feed ourselves on what we know is right.
progress is the meat,
garnished with honesty,
letās eat.

it's the sounds of lasko fans emitting cool and white noise, bodies turning in a mid-night's slumber, where there is council in silence and clarity in thought, the poeting hour my thoughts lay bare, on sheets, documents and notes, scattered like broken pieces, to be strung together, like popcorn on string, or strings of guitars, just strumming the chords in accord, with the humming, low, as the fans whisper sweet lullabies to the sleepers, whisper, sweet lullabies to the sleepers, whisper... the same whisper, the wind says to the trees, your favorite song says to your heart, the pen to the pad, a whisper that moves, sends and retrieves, hurt and relieves, subtle but powerful breeze (fans hum)
the voice is
you ever heard the old saying that āthere is often more said than doneā? well in todayās day and age we have made it so that saying becomes doing. this, traditionally, isnāt and cannot be true for some. for others who tend to see the power of their voices, who see that their talking moves many to action this couldnāt be truer.
we are moving towards a society where your voice is the most powerful tool in the inciting and directing of action. a society where hastags, social media trends, and shared articles are moving more and more people to activism. so much so that what started as an embedded thought among black people and their closest friends has become a mantra for self-love and self-regard. it is a simple affirmation that proclaims #blacklivesmatter.
so when considering posts on social media platforms, we all must realize that our voices and opinions could be shared by enough people to make us leaders of the next trend, social justice movement, political campaign, or slander campaign. your voice is powerful, and important.
that is the essence of this blog, treble en blak. theĀ high-pitched and hued voice of mine. some people will resonate with what i think and say, some wonāt. whatās important is to know that like yours, my voice matters. my vibrations and energy matters. the voice is powerful. the voice is the catalyst of new activism.
what will you say today? what will you speak against? for? how will you wield that voice of yours to create a change in your world. turn up your treble; the symphony of actions require your input
