just finished watching murder before evensong and it was honestly SO good. definitely one of my favourite series ever and such an elevation of the book—which i loved, by the way, but the mystery part of the plot was underwhelming and here they managed to spin it in a completely satisfactory way. it left things open!!!!!!! not the main plot, but the storylines on the side, and to be honest that makes me giddy because it means the accounted for a second season. in itself that isn't at all a guarantee, but just having the hope that they'll continue on with the next books in the series is so heartwarming 😭 i'm crossing my fingers that it gets a proper shot. i loved this i loved this i loved this and i loveeeee this series of books to bits i am so glad i came across it

Sorry about spoilers, but I cant help feeling sorry for Harry.

First, his adoptive parents pass away leaving him with questions.

Next, he finds his bio mum and realises he has an aunt as well.

Then, they pass away in a suicide pact when their self defence manslaughter is discovered.

Having read the books, this was no surprise, and I just needed to identify who was who. Now I just need to remember who the murderer is? Harder than I imagined as I didn't remember who the victim was! All the hoohar about converting the flower room into toilets stuck in my mind took its place.

I will DIE on the hill the 21st Century Breakdown is JUST AS GOOD as American Idiot it just had the misfortune of following American Idiot and no matter what Green Day put out after that album people would rip it to shreds and hate it but 21st Century Breakdown is as strong and as structured and as fleshed out as American Idiot

American Idiot just came first so it had the luck to be the genre game changer and thing that people took notice of cause the first bullseye you hit is impressive the second one everyone expects

I'm visiting my sister, staying at a B&B as she has no room for guests. People in the neighbouring room were loud, and definitely drunk earlier this evening. About 45 mins ago, I heard someone vomiting. It didn't sound like they were using the en suite toilet; it sounded like they were using the landing outside their room (and mine). I don't want to look!

Not sure if anyone's bothered, or if Tumblr is the right platform, but can anyone help by signing or sharing either or elsewhere? It's local to my sister. They are planning on turning a nature park used by locals and tourists into holiday homes. I can't work out the logic of destroying a tourist attraction to build tourist accommodation. Thank you.
