Raised in South Central Los Angeles, Poet, emcee and multimedia artist under the pen name of ‘RHIPS’ (resting humbly in poetry & song), he is one third of the L.A. grow grassroots hip hop group, Inner City Dwellers. He performs at Universities, Colleges, Conferences and throughout the open mic scene. A breadth of experience in activism, youth development, multimedia and visual art, created a person passionate about life. Fueled by his talents, and driven by a keen hunger for social justice, RHIPS has cemented his dedication and practice of radical personal transformation. As a person engaging in the on going flow of change, his artistic expressions often extend invitations to others to 'shake and move' in the direction of personal and cultural transformation, by any creative means necessary.
