Thoughts on People

One of my struggles is how to deal with people. How does one deal with someone who is completely irrational and in charge. How do you keep your cool? I have been struggling with this for a number of years and I have not found the perfect solution yet but I am working on it. A quote from Deena of the dog park, "your can't reason with crazy". No matter how hard I try or how upset I get there is no solution for interactions with these type of people. You can't change them. We have to work on how we react to the crazies and change ourselves. We have to adjust our lives around the crazies. We avoid them at all costs. These have been my lunch hour thoughts for you...Internet.

Failure

Sometimes we miss our goals and it freaked sucks. I sit here having lost out on something I desperately wanted and needed and I don't know how to feel. I am upset, I am hurt, but if it didn't happen then it really was not meant to any way. I know that I am the reason I failed but then again am I. How much control do we actually have? I know that if I keep going at this rate and in this environment I am going to hate what I love. When do we walk away? I am not a quitter and this philosophy causes me grief most of the time because I have a hard time deciding when it's over. It takes a lot for me to walk away and I always wait till the last possible moment. Is this healthy? I have a lot to work through with myself so this is where I am leaving it for now.
