I wasn’t happy with our email design when I started at Canyon. For example - we were using black background with white text. This was distasterous because many email clients only allow for white backgrounds which was resulting in white text on white background!
This was my first attempt at redesigning the emails to be inline with our design aesthetic. For those of you who are knowledgeable about the limitations of Email design there are some things here that would have been difficult to achieve. However, this was a good starting place that we have been able to build from and A/B test some design elements.
Whilst not perfect - I am proud that it helped move both the design and user experience forward.
