Looks like I’ll have to postpone my breakdown until Sunday 🙄
"And this emergency epiphany has led to you sitting like a half-baked yoga student on cold timber," Tonks summarised, stepping almost right up to him. "And what exactly is this monumental thought that's so important you’re willing to sacrifice your lower back for it?"
She executed a tactical manoeuvre and tried to peer at the screen, but Remus reacted with professional grace. The laptop lid slammed shut with such a loud snap that it was as if he had just sealed away a state secret at the very least.
"It’s nothing much," he cut in, desperately trying to regain his 'everything is fully under control' expression. This was rather a struggle for him, given the tuft of hair sticking up on his crown and his general state of mild panic.
"Have you started writing a book?" Tonks narrowed her eyes. Mischievous sparks danced in them, which usually meant nothing peaceful for those around her.
"No."
New Idea- If you can do this like a one shot or WIP, it’s based on a dream I had last week, Remus taught Tonks ballet. I have the weirdest dreams and I hardly know anything about ballet 😂. Coincidentally, this show I am rewatching had something to do with ballet too, so I think that’s a sign. If you do end up doing this, I know it will be good like all your other works, but I will die internally of cringe because it’s my idea and I find that embarrassing and maybe other people will not like the idea lol
I’m ready to fight for the title of having the weirdest dreams! Have you ever dreamed that you were duelling Malfoy in the Ministry of Magic? 😅 (it later turned out that the explosion sounds I was hearing in the dream were real, but anyway...)
I actually already have a somewhat similar dancing storyline in BH. Right now, Tonks is learning ballroom dancing with the help of a friend. And according to the fresh Hogwarts gossip bulletin that I apparently receive daily, I’ve learned that someone might be helping Remus too 👀
And soon they’ll be dancing together.
(This all sounds incredibly cheesy when I put it like that, but I promise it’s not as bad as it sounds!)
In my teenage years, I genuinely believed that becoming stronger meant doing things you don’t like.
That’s how I started running.
And honestly, I still hate running and try to avoid any kind of physical activity like that whenever I can. But technically, I did get stronger and learn how to run, right?
So I was thinking…
What if I wrote a fic that starts with a random one-night stand, slowly turns into friends with benefits, and eventually becomes a relationship?
Basically, it would be a fic where every chapter is smut… just to learn how to write those scenes and stop feeling cringe about them…

people telling you they reread your fic is the biggest compliment you could ever receive. there are thousands of stories out there begging to be found, to be explored, but your story meant so much to someone that they came back to it eagerly, they went over every word again. to love is to return and loving a fic is rereading it. thank you to all readers and rereaders <3333
