Day in the Forest part 3

“I am not going to hurt you little hybrid I could care less that is the reason I live in a cave.” The salamander huffed as smoke blew out his nose. “You're still a kid too and I can’t stand Fea who hurt children.” 

Eira smiled softly at him. “That is nice to know.” Eira blushed a bit and he patted her head and laughed. 

“If you want to rant I am willing to listen and help where I can.” He smiled at her. She smiled at him before sighing. 

“It's time for the deal again and if the pattern stays to right I will be getting another sibling or set of siblings soon.” Eira sighed as the salamander and her sat on some leaves and they had a long conversation.

Day in the Forest part two

“Yes sorry for nearly waking into your home I was lost in thought.” Eira rubbed the back of her head. 

“You should be more careful hybrid many would try to eat you for that.” He tells her. 

“Yea I know sorry just a lot playing up here and it will not shut up so I went for a walk.” Eira said sighed as she rubbed her head.

“I am surprised a hybrid of the courts is still alive.” He hummed. 

“Yea my mom wouldn’t let my birth father touch me or my siblings and they are the only ones who know we are alive.” Eira inched back.

A day in the Forest

Eira walked deeper and deeper into the forest. Her mind wandered with so many questions. Her black hair blew in the breeze and sometimes even into her face. A low growl snapped her out of her thoughts as she blinks she sees she is standing at the opening of the cave that is the home of the salamander. “Sorry.” She turned and walked away as the beast's head popped out blinking. The beast morphed into a man. 

“Are you okay?” He asked her making her stop and turn back to him

Calming the Elements

Jackle curled into her sister in the rain slowly. Fang walked into the room and shut the door before crawling into bed with his sister. A few minutes later the storm stopped and Kat and Fang just held their sister as she tries to calm down to stop the storm. Slows but surely the storm stopped as Jackle pulled herself together. “I’m sorry.” She whispered.

“Never apologize for feeling sad,” Kat tells her kissing her head.

Calming the Elements

 Thunder sounded as lighting about hit the house. “Okay yup.” Kat stood and headed to her sister's room. “Jackle.” She said opening the door.

Jackle said nothing as she just looked out the window. Rain and wind picked up as Jackle silently cried. Kat sighed as she crawled into bed with her sister. 

“Jackle please I know you are hurting but you're going to flood the city.” Kat hugged her sister to her. 

Jackle still said nothing but took a deep breath and the rain started to ease up.

Calming the Elements

Fang sighed as the rain pelted the house. “If we can’t get her to calm down she’s going to flood the city.” 

“I know, but right now she’s not even going to listen to us.” Kat sighed as she sits next to her brother. 

“There is no way that Father is going to be able to pull her out of this. He wouldn’t want to understand any of what she is going on.” Fang sighed.  

“We don’t know anyone who could understand what she is going through,”  Kat said flopping back on the couch.

Theo and Hailey left the house before his parents started yelling and screaming at Hailey. “So where did you get the money for this?” Theo asked her.

“Father made me give him numbers again so I may or may not have put in for the fifth-place winner thought Diana. She took 30% of it and gave the rest to me.” She looked away. “I sent some of it to the children's hospital so I didn’t keep all of it.”

“Even if you did I wouldn’t blame you what are you saving up for?” He asked her.

“A tiny house and a truck.” She said.

“Where do you want to go?”

“That does not make things right!” Theo snarls as he finished putting his clothes away. “You were a little kid, why couldn’t our family just say it was imaginary friends.” He growled as he kept puttering around his room ice started forming on his arms.

“Theo.” He looked at her and she ran her fingers down her arm.

He looked down and huffed as he rubbed his arm breaking off the ice. “Thank you.”

She just smiled at him and nodded knowing they tried so hard to keep his power between them.

Hailey walked up to her aunt’s house. Her Aunt and Uncle would not be happy to see her but she and Theo had plans for today. She knocked on the door. “I am coming!” Theo yelled. Hailey smiled as her cousin opened the door.

“Hey give me two minutes then we can head out.” He pulled her into the house and to his room. “I hate that they hate you.”

“I’m the lying ghost girl everyone but you and Diana hate me.” Hailey rolled her eyes.

Sparing with Nathan part 3

Blaze groaned.  “I hate fea sometimes. It’s an anger-based spell likely making him act on his anger in ways he would normally not.” 

Alex blocked the next attack and slid his sword up and around the wooden sword came to rest at Nathan’s throat. “That’s the match!” Gabriel called out. 

“Now then.” Blaze said as he walked towards  him. Alex backed out of the ring as Blaze muttered in a language Alex didn't know. Red vines appeared around Nathan and they started to wiggle and shake before snapping and Nathan's eye rolled back. Blaze catches him before he hits the floor.

Sparing with Nathan part 2

“He is right Uncle what is going on?” Gabriel asked from his spot as ref.

“I’m fine!” Nathan snarled as he swung his sword at Alex who caught the sword and pushed him back. 

“No you’re not you are far more aggressive than I have ever seen you.” Alex said as he was able to pin the swords between them. With a growl Nathan stepped back to free his sword when a shimmer rippled around Nathan. It was a red and angry feeling. 

“Blaze?” Alex called out as everyone had seen it.

Sparing with Nathan part one

Alex ducked  under the swing that came at his head. “Nathan is brutal today.” Kenneth hummed. 

Alex spun and blocked the next attack. Nathan growls as he moves his sword up and around and Alex brings him down and around, smacking Nathan in the side as he all but bends in half to not be hit by the sword. 

“Nathan you're not yourself today!” Alex snapped at him. Nathan blinked as he stepped back taking a deep breath.

Training with Taylor part 3

“Now keep them wrapped for a couple of weeks while you are training so you don’t hurt yourself.” He tells her as he hands her the blades back. “Time in.” He said and then ducked as she attacked him with the flat side of her blade. “Styx!” Alex cursed but smiled at her as he moved back away from her letting her have the attack he blocked each of her attacks then his swords slipped up and under hers and he yanked them out of her hold as he pulls his arms out to the sides. “I win.”

Training with Taylor part 2

Alex catches her swords in his hands when she swings at him. “Time out, we need to wrap your hands.” 

“I’m fine Alex.” Taylor said as he tugs the blades from her hands. 

“Show me your hands.” Alex tells her. With a sigh Taylor shows Alex her hands. Alex gave a hiss. 

“Yea that needs to be wrapped for a few days so you don’t rub the skin off your hands.” Alex explains to her. He left the ring and grabbed the medical kit and set to wrapping her hands.

Training with Taylor part one

Taylor uses her gymnastics to move out of the way of Alex’s swing as they are spared in the dojo. Her new elbow blades were something that she would need to get used to having in her hands as she did cartwheels to not get hit. She winced as she spun her blade to knock him out of her way. Alex’s eyes narrowed as he saw this. Her hands were slightly raw from practicing with them.
