Graduation Guest
Me: I have four seats for my graduation. Who should I invite?
My Husband: I will lie down on the chairs.
Linger
I cannot keep up with all the greetings, but thank you so much. It is always a warm feeling to know that you are remembered.
I woke up in the most beautiful manner today. It was soft and slow, surely not like the way it had been in the last four years. Work and school always forced me out of bed then, but today, I can stay as long in it as I want.
I also got to french press my own freshly ground Kona beans, so coffee today is simply delicious. It isn't instant, or rushed, and no incidence of me getting mad at my brewer for taking too long that I'd be stressed about either being sleepy or late for class.
I am also surrounded by 5 different books. Well at least 3 physical ones, and 2 virtual copies from my Kindle. I just plan to read and read today, without thinking of deadlines. Freed from the chains of school requirements means extra, extra joy. (For even with obligations and all, it never completely took away my joy in reading and learning.)
The day is yet to unfold, but I am enjoying every moment. It was first spent with my husband, as we hugged and thanked the Lord for each other, and for the plain awesomeness of having exactly the same birthday as our favorite person in the world. Now that he's at work, my blessedness in God's presence continues and in this I'd like to linger. Even before I can begin a new season, let me bide my time in the peacefulness of this transition.
Taylor Kitsch and The Letterman Show, hope this gets to you all. Let us learn to be wise w/our words and curtail unnecessary arrogance.

Things To Do After I Graduate: Sleep Like A Baby
These are a few of my favorite things!
They're a bit pricey, but so worth it!
1. Kindle Touch (I don't have to carry all the books I want to read on a trip! Specially the anthologies! I can also put in my notes for public speaking or reports and read from it.)
2. Remington Sleek and Curl (Oh how many times I've saved so much time and money going to the salon to have my hair fixed for events, like debut parties and weddings! You just have to learn the technique though. But there's a tutorial CD anyway, and you get the hang of it after a while of using it.)
3. Lightwedge Original LED Book Light (I super love it when I'm reading beside my husband at night and all the lights are out because he's already asleep.)
4. MacBook Air 11" (I no longer feel like crying whenever I have a class on the 3rd floor of any of our school buildings! It's just so light, you hardly notice that you're carrying a laptop!)

OMG.
I never thought I'd find this online. Our professor, Sir Oscar Campomanes made us read it last year and believe, this is so worth your time! Specially if you are Filipino, because you'll have a kind of history that is not usually shown in your text books.
All I can say is that Kylie Bissuti, I love you, I support you, God bless you forever, and PRAISE THE LORD FOR PRAYING HUSBANDS! Jesus Saves! Hooray to New Creations!
God, I know You are glorified, and I am just so happy to witness it. ❤
Thesis Chronicles: No Animals Killed/Harmed in the Process
Surely, walang animal na nasaktan dito.
Pero marami-rami din ang pinggang hindi nahugasan in the making of my thesis. (Nakabasag pa ako mg platito. Tsk tsk tsk.)
Nawalan na din kami ng dining table ng asawa ko. Last night, doon sya sa countertop ng kitchen namin kumain, habang sitting pretty sila Tadiar, Hau, Ileto, Rafael, at Jenks sa la mesa namin. I am so blessed that my husband is so understanding.
I’m glad my friend Patty Laurel shared this with me. It’s such a perfect illustration of how our lives are interconnected, and how the good stuff, as well as the bad, get passed on to others even without our knowledge. It’s also a great reminder of how everything traces back to God. To love God and live a life for Him, surely means loving others too, in direct and even indirect ways. Hooray to changed lives and making an impact on others in big AND “small” ways!
“Sleep All Day”
(things I’ll do after graduation)
If there's anything I've learned, so far, as in the past two years of being married to such a romantic, Godly, intelligent, genius kind of man, it is that humility in humor and silliness saves us from a lot of unnecessary fights, hurts and cries.
I am so glad that I married such a FUN(ny) kind of guy. Thank you, Love, that you know when not to take me, or even yourself, TOO seriously! I am confident that if we stay this way for the rest of our years together, we'll last as long (or even longer?) as these two in video.
P.S. I always thought that acknowledging one's shortcomings by way of humor and laughter is such a graceful manifestation of humility.
